Museumbezoeken zijn afhankelijk van de beschikbaarheid. Indien er geen beschikbaarheid is, wordt de ticketprijs terugbetaald. Ontdek het culturele zuiden van Mexico-Stad door traditie en kunst te combineren. De tour begint in Xochimilco, waar u aan boord van een trajinera over de beroemde kanalen vaart, in een van de meest iconische plaatsen en een UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie. De ervaring gaat verder in Coyoacán, waar u de Fontein van de Coyotes en de traditionele markt van Coyoacán bezoekt, representatieve plekken van de wijk en het lokale leven. Afhankelijk van de gekozen optie, omvat de tour een bezoek aan een of meer van de volgende musea: • Casa Azul: Het oorspronkelijke huis van Frida Kahlo, met persoonlijke ruimtes en voorwerpen. • Het Rode Huis: een familiehuis dat een meer intieme kant van Frida Kahlo laat zien. • Anahuacalli Rivera: Het museum van Diego Rivera met een collectie pre-Spaanse kunst. 09:00 uur – Ontmoeting en vertrek Ontmoeting met de chauffeur-gids in uw accommodatie in Mexico-Stad We nemen de weg naar Xochimilco
10:00 uur – Xochimilco Aankomst in Xochimilco. Stap aan boord van een kleurrijke trajinera en vaar door de grachten. Geniet van mariachimuziek en proef lokale hapjes van verkopers langs de grachten. Tijd om foto's te maken en van het landschap te genieten.
13:00 uur – Coyoacán-tour Wandel door de charmante geplaveide straten en bezoek lokale pleinen en markten. Mogelijkheid om te genieten van een kopje koffie of een snack in een van de plaatselijke cafés.
14.00 uur – Frida Kahlo Museum GESLOTEN OP MAANDAG Als er geen dienstregeling beschikbaar is voor het Frida Kahlo Museum, worden de kosten van het ticket terugbetaald.
16:00 uur – Terugkomst Keer terug naar het ontmoetingspunt of een afgesproken plaats in Mexico-Stad.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
De ophaaltijd is tussen 08:15 en 09:20 uur en wordt de dag voor de tour bevestigd. De avond ervoor, vóór 20:00 uur, nemen we contact met u op via e-mail, sms of WhatsApp om de chauffeur, gids en de exacte ophaaltijd door te geven. Toegang tot het Frida Kahlo Museum is afhankelijk van de beschikbaarheid in het museum zelf. De toegangstijden kunnen dus variëren en de volgorde van de rondleiding kan dienovereenkomstig worden aangepast. (Het museum is op maandag gesloten.) Indien een tijdslot voor het Frida Kahlo Museum niet beschikbaar is, krijgt u het verschil in ticketprijs terugbetaald.

Our tour guide Raul did a great job! He communicated well and was punctual, and he gave us helpful information throughout. The only reason I’m putting 4 stars is that the tour was listed as occurring from 9 AM - 2 PM, but we found out when we arrived that it would last until 5 PM. It was worthwhile, but it would have been helpful to know the timing ahead of time.
We had an amazing time on our day trip to xochitmico and Coayacan. Our guide, Raul Morales, was friendly and knowledgeable on the history of both cities. He made our trip memorable!
Raul was very friendly, informative and helpful! We also loved trying the local foods, the canals were a blast and Frida’s home was beautiful and inspiring!

Our tour was amazing from pick up to the end. Our tour guide Miguel was incredibly kind and helpful during the whole tour explaining in detail the various locations we visited. Xochimilco, which was the highlight of the tour for my wife and I. We had so much fun on the chinampas, eating some yummy food, and even got to see some axolotls. We plan on coming back again one day with friends and family. Our visit to Coyoacán was also amazing seeing the home of Frida Khalo and town was so much fun and educational as well. Can’t say enough how great our tour guide Miguel was as our guide. Thank you so much!

SO DISAPPOINTING- WE WASTED MOST OF THE DAY - HOURS- IN THE CAR TRAVELING FROM PLACE TO PLACE-this was not clear from the write up. Need to have done much more research and have taken a geography lesson to realize that this was not a walking tour, but we were being taken by car from place to place. WHAT A COLOSSAL WASTE OF TIME! The CANALS: THE MOST TOURISTY AND COMMERCIAL THING. We were one of LITERALLY 100’s of boats that clogged this “canal” (more like a tiny waterway)with everyone hawking their wares. It was not enjoyable. The “ floating garden” we were supposed to see was a plant store. The icing on the cake was a silver jewelry salesman boarded our boat to sell his wares. It might have been fun if there were ALOT of people in our party- other boats looked like they were party boats with lots of drinking. Not something we were interested in at 10:30AM. Coyoacan was a lovely town and the Frida Kahlo house was terrific, but we had already spent most of the day traveling and were exhausted by the time we got there. And we went through the museum on our own, so did not need the tour company for that. The one redeeming part was our guide, Ismael was very good.
We had a great day with Raul, visiting Xochimilco, Coyuacan and Museo Casa Kahlo. This is a relatively new museum of Frida Kahlo family life that offers a different perspective of Kahlo. Must see!!! Transportation was excellent.
