Een bezoek aan het Prado Museum met ons is de garantie voor een unieke en authentieke ervaring. De tour begint in je hotel waar je Franstalige gids je ophaalt om een van de mooiste kunstcollecties ter wereld te verkennen. Je privétour begint in je hotel waar je gids je zal ontmoeten. U vertrekt dan per taxi richting het Prado Museum. Zodra je ter plaatse bent aangekomen, laat je privégids je zonder vertraging het museum binnen dankzij de snelle ingangen. Je ontdekt een van de grootste musea van Europa door de meesterwerken die de geschiedenis hebben getekend. Uw historicusgids zal de geschiedenis van de werken van Bosch, Rogier van der Weyden, Fra Angelico, Titiaan, El Greco, Diego Vélasquez en Goya met u delen. Wil je meer uitleg over een bepaald schilderij of schilder, laat het dan gerust aan je gids weten. Omdat onze privérondleidingen volledig aanpasbaar zijn, kunt u kiezen wat u in het museum wilt bezoeken. Het bezoek eindigt bij de ingang van het Prado. Het Prado Museum is een van de monumenten om te zien tijdens een bezoek aan Madrid. Gelegen aan de Paseo del Prado raden wij u aan om na het bezoek een wandeling te maken in het Retiro Park.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Uw gids zal u bij uw Pension ontmoeten om de tour te beginnen (wacht alstublieft op uw gids in de lobby van uw Pension). Hij zal een paar minuten voor de afgesproken tijd op u wachten. De reis van het Pension naar het museum zal per taxi plaatsvinden en is inbegrepen in de totale duur van het bezoek (4 uur). Het vervoer vindt plaats per taxi (kosten inbegrepen in de tour). Heeft u vragen over uw zorg, neem dan gerust contact met ons op. Let op: de reis zal per taxi (stadstaxi van Madrid) plaatsvinden; een privéchauffeur is niet inbegrepen bij dit bezoek. Madrid is een hoofdstad met veel verkeer. Onze excuses alvast voor eventuele files tijdens uw reis. Als uw hotel dicht bij een van de musea ligt, kunt u te voet gaan; voor zeer korte afstanden is een taxi niet nodig (wat tijd bespaart). Als u mobiliteitsproblemen heeft, laat het ons dan weten.

We had a fantastic two hour tour of the Prado Museum. Sirsa was our guide. She gave an excellent presentation of the art and history of Spain. Of course we mostly saw the highlights, but it was perfect for what we wanted and was a highlight of our time in Madrid.

This was our first visit to the Museo del Prado and this tour was worth every penny! Without Laura’s expertise, knowledge and guidance, our visit to this prominent museum would not have been nearly as enjoyable. One could easily find himself aimlessly wandering from room to room. Our guide provided much needed historical background for Spain, as well the art history pertaining to each specific painting we saw. We learned about many of the important artists and their pieces in this collection. Thanks to Laura, we left the museum with a the feeling of being both enlightened and informed. 😊

I have been to this museum a few times before without a guide. Seeing it with a guide and learning about the stories behind the paintings was a completely different and wonderful experience. The museum has something like 8,000 paintings so it can also feel overwhelming and it was great to have someone by my side to help navigate it in a manageable way. I learned so much from Sirsa and she was a pleasure to be with. I highly recommend her and this tour.

Our guide Sofia was wonderful, very nice and very knowledgeable. It was a good way to start our Madrid experience. We learned a lot during these two hours and then could explore some more on our own. At the end we went to the Botanical garden which was right next door and is a very pleasant and quiet place.
