Nice way to explore both the village and the good food. Would recommend especially as an introduction.
The Tor canceled two hours prior, which left us struggling to find dinner reservations. Then the Tor operator reached out asking us if we wanted to do a cooking class
I like to be absolutely honest in my reviews bc I know other tourists like myself, travel from far away and look forward to these types of tours. So I’m only giving it 2 starts bc the tour guide was nice and informative. This is probably one of the worst food tours I’ve been on. I have been to many other countries and have done food tours and have left absolutely stuffed. For the first time after a food tour, I’ve had to go get dinner and spent way less than what I paid for this tour. This one was more talking about food and a lot of walking around Monopoli. We only had a few small samples of cheese, small Dixie size cup of wine, one slice of meat, a piece of focaccia bread and a small gelato. All that doesn’t equal out to the amount of money you pay for this tour. Basically everyone on my tour was upset bc we were all so disappointed with how little food we got for the amount we paid and just walked around Monopoli very slowly and talked about food. Def would not recommend this tour. The worst food tour I’ve ever been on.
Great tour ! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area. Took us to some yummy food stops. Plus we went to a beautiful church where he told us about its history !
Antonio was great fun, food was excellent and there was lots of it! Nice way to meet other tourists and we really enjoyed meeting Jeff and his mum from New Jersey. Would highly recommend as great way to enjoy Monopoli! Va Bene!!!!

The incorrect time was given for the tour. I was never notified by email or phone of the change in time.we were there at 10:30 and the tour was changed to 11:30.

My only reason for 4 stars was that the tour was meant to be of Monopoli, but at the last minute they changed it to Polignano. Other than that the tour was excellent. Our guide Daniella, is also a chef so he was extremely knowledgeable about the food and gave us great information about how different doughs are made. We had lots of food! Would highly recommend as a tour of Polignano!
I went in the Monopoli food tour and our guide Daniele was AMAZING!! He is a cook who has worked at a 3 star Michelin restaurant in bergamo and his passion for food shone through. I also missed my train and so I was VERY late, and Daniele and the other two guests had their walking tour of the old town first and saved the tastings for when I arrived 🥹 the tastings were amazing as well!
Did the walking food tour in monopoli yesterday with Alessandra as our host , she did an excellent job , very friendly and knowledgeable of the area . The foods we tried were delicious 🤤 fantastic tour highly recommend and ask for Alessandra
