Begin aan een dagexcursie naar de stad Antalya met een professionele gids. Tijdens een gevarieerde dagelijkse excursie vanuit Side bezoekt u de Alexanderwaterval en verkent u Antalya per kabelbaan op eigen houtje.

Begin met ophalen van uw hotel door een bus met airconditioning. Reis naar Antalya met een professionele gids, die veel feiten en historische informatie over de stad zal geven. Maak onderweg een stop om de Kurşunlu-waterval een half uur te bezoeken. Stop vervolgens bij de Tünektepe-kabelbaan, die u op 700 meter naar het hoogste punt van het stadscentrum van Antalya brengt. Proef wat lokaal gebak of geniet van een kopje koffie met een prachtig uitzicht. Verken het oudste deel van de stad, Kaleiçi, met 2 uur vrije tijd. Krijg wat lokale aanbevelingen van je gids en ga winkelen voor lokale souvenirs. Hierna wordt u om ongeveer 17:00 uur teruggebracht naar uw hotel in Side.

We were surprised that we had to pay the entrance fee to the waterfalls when it was stated that the price of the excursion included the entrance fee to the waterfall and cable car. The guide dropped us at the Bazaar and told us to come back in 5 hours. After I asked when we would go to the cable car, they told us that the cable car was not in operation and probably as a compensation they arranged a boat ride around the harbor. If I hadn't called, it would have been basically just a crossing to Antalya with a stop at the Selale Mah waterfalls
Quite a lot packed into this day trip. Fairly easy to book and the coach was on time to pick us up. First stop was Duden Falls which was very scenic and nice to stretch our legs. On to Antalya and some of the group got off at in the city for free time and then more people got off for the aquarium, only a handful of us stayed on the coach to go on the cable car. We hadn’t actually realised there was an aquarium stop too, that wasn’t mentioned in the description of the trip. The cable car was great with panoramic views of Antalya and the mountains and sea surrounding it. At the top were a couple of stalls/bar area selling drinks and food which were at extortionate prices I have to say. Back on the coach and we were dropped off to spend a couple of hours in Kaleici. Even though the trip included a lot of options, if you choose to do the cable car you will end up spending more time on the coach than anything else. It was very hot so the coach and its air conditioning were a welcome reprieve but in hindsight if we’d been aware of the aquarium stop we would’ve gotten off the coach sooner so our toddler could spend more time out and about. On the way to Antalya our guide told us a lot of facts about where we were headed, they were very interesting, I’d like to suggest that more history is included about the city too. Overall, you do get a lot for your money, so this trip was definitely good value, it pretty much stayed on schedule and the coach itself was comfortable.
