Welkom bij een ongelooflijk avontuur, als wat je leuk vindt is om nieuwe plekken te leren kennen en in contact te komen met de natuur, dan is deze activiteit iets voor jou. We nemen je mee naar het op een na grootste koraalrif ter wereld, de eerste is in Australië. De barrière meet 621 mijl en gaat van Guatemala naar Mexico, we nemen je mee naar een rif in Puerto Morelos dat als het mooiste wordt beschouwd vanwege de grote diversiteit die er is, dit punt is zo beroemd omdat de enige boten die aankomen zijn de lokale en in tegenstelling tot andere riffen, kunnen de koralen in grotere afmetingen groeien dan normaal. De diversiteit aan onderwaterleven die je zult vinden is ongelooflijk, we zullen vissen van vele kleuren en soorten kunnen zien, evenals pijlstaartroggen en enkele schildpadden. Ga met ons mee op dit prachtige avontuur. De activiteit omvat vervoer heen en terug, lunch, water en twee keer zwemmen van 40 minuten op het rif.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Als uw hotel niet in de lijst staat, wat betekent dat u naar een speciaal ontmoetingspunt moet gaan, laat ons dan weten in welk hotel u gaat verblijven, zodat een vertegenwoordiger van ons bedrijf contact met u kan opnemen om het ontmoetingspunt en de ophaaltijd aan te geven. Deze dienst heeft twee verschillende schema's, de eerste is voor een ochtendtour en het ophalen vindt plaats op: CANCUN EN PLAYA DEL CARMEN ZONE tussen 8.00 en 8.30 uur, TULUM ZONE tussen 7.00 en 8.00 uur. We arriveren om 9.30 uur in het park. De tweede is voor een middagtour en je wordt opgehaald bij: CANCUN EN PLAYA DEL CARMEN ZONE tussen 12.00 en 12.30 uur, TULUM ZONE tussen 11.00 en 12.00 uur. We arriveren om 13.30 uur in het park. De schema's variëren afhankelijk van het hotel. Onze vertegenwoordiger zal de exacte ophaaltijd doorgeven via e-mail of sms. Voor hotels en airbnbs in Tulum is het speciale ontmoetingspunt de Super Aki Tulum-supermarkt in het centrum. Houd rekening met de transporttijden voor het ophalen en terugbrengen.

This review is based on the fact that I booked a 2.5 hr tour that ended up being over 7 hrs. To be fair, the tour operator did issue me a refund after I asked (I will add an extra star because of this) but I am going to move ahead with my review so that other people are made aware to not to book the 2.5 hour tour. Based on the description, it was my understanding that the tour I booked would consist of getting picked up in Cancun, taken to Puerto Moreles to snorkel, then promptly taken back to Cancun. My boyfriend and I only had 2 full days in Cancun and he had zero interest in snorkeling. I love snorkeling so when I found the 2.5 hr snorkel tour from Cancun to Puerto Moreles, I thought it would be perfect. I could get a snorkel in and be back in time to have an early lunch and spend the rest of the day with my boyfriend. That wasn’t the reality at all. Apparently the 2.5 hr tour does not even exist. Once I arrived in Puerto Moreles, I was told the tour would actually be 4 hrs instead. I was incredibly bummed because not only had I not purchased a 4 hr tour but I now would be losing precious time in Cancun with my boyfriend and I was recovering from a bout of food poisoning. I considered canceling prior to the tour start time but since I anticipated it only being 2.5 hrs, I figured I could power through since I love snorkeling so much. Nope. After snorkeling there was a taco lunch that I couldn’t even eat (nor did I want) due to not feeling well. In addition to that, we were told that we weren’t even going to get picked up until 2 PM. Since the tour was scheduled to start at 8 AM, we should have been picked up by noon to make the tour 4 hrs, and we weren’t even back in Cancun yet! I asked the tour operator if there was any way I could get taken back to Cancun earlier and they said no. At this point I was so disappointed in the tour being significantly longer than i expected, I was missing out on vacation time with my boyfriend, plus I was exhausted and feeling unwell, so I started to cry. I was completely exasperated. I was embarrassed so I walked away and I heard the tour employees laughing. It made me feel like an idiot. If this tour had been listed as a 7 hour tour (I didn’t get dropped off in Cancun until after 3:30 PM, I was literally the last person to get dropped off at my hotel after a series of very long drop offs) I would have known what I was in for and rated appropriately. Not only that, if the tour was accurately listed as 7 hrs I wouldn’t have even booked it in the first place. Same goes for the 4 hr tour, I had no interest in having lunch and hanging out in Puerto Moreles after snorkeling. Since I was prepared for 2.5 hrs, I unfortunately cannot rate this tour highly. As I said before, I will add an extra star since they issued me a refund.

Being a shared tour causes delays in some points of logistics and its implication is to have to wait for all passengers who are on board for pickup and drop off correctly. The staff was so wonderful. I needed a little extra help with my ms and they were so accommodating. The reef is the best snorkeling I have ever seen. We will be back with this company
