Rondleiding door de grotten van San Jose vanuit Valencia

Onze excursie vertrekt vanuit Valencia stad om de grootste ondergrondse rivier van Europa te ontdekken die door UNESCO tot werelderfgoed is verklaard. Een verbazingwekkend ondergronds labyrint waar de magie van de natuur tot leven komt. Stalactieten en stalagmieten verstrengelen zich in een stenen dans, terwijl uitgestrekte kamers de grandeur onthullen die onder onze voeten verborgen ligt. U zult : de oorsprong van de grotten ontdekken, getuige zijn van hun evolutie door de jaren heen, en het adembenemende uitzicht op de Sierra de Espadán natuurpark aanschouwen. We halen je op van de ontmoetingspunten in Valencia en direct daarna beginnen we aan ons avontuur rijden naar ''la Vall d'Uixò''. Na het bezoek in de grotten (ongeveer 1 uur) hebben we 30 minuten vrije tijd om een Iberische Romeinse nederzetting te ontdekken (met een prachtig uitzicht op de regio), iets te drinken, te brunchen of gewoon uit te rusten in het natuurgebied. * De ontmoetingspunten waar we verzamelen : NH Valencia Center, Torres de Serranos en Ciudad de la justicia.

- Het schema is bij benadering, we sturen een dag eerder een WhatsApp bericht met alle afhaalgegevens. Schrijf een correct telefoonnummer (als het telefoonnummer ongeldig is, zijn wij niet verantwoordelijk voor ontbrekende informatie) in het geval u geen Whatsapp heeft zal de activiteit provider een e-mail sturen via Viator.
- Als u de informatie van uw favoriete ophaalpunt niet achterlaat, wijzen wij u automatisch toe : Torres de Serranos.
- Te laat komen is niet onze verantwoordelijkheid.
- De duur van de activiteit (vanaf de collectie tot we terugkeren uit de grotten) is 4u.
- We zullen in deze activiteit niet in de rivier baden.
- Binnen in de grotten heerst een constante jaartemperatuur van 20oC.
- U heeft 30 minuten vrije tijd om badkamers, bars en winkels te gebruiken of gewoon om te ontspannen in de omgeving.
- U mag uw eigen eten/drinken meenemen. Maar is niet toegestaan om te eten in de bus.
- U heeft het vervoer inbegrepen om heen en terug te gaan (zelfde ophaalpunt)
- Als u uitcheckt bij uw hotel, kunt u uw bagage meenemen. U moet ons op de hoogte stellen om ruimte te garanderen.
- Je wordt vergezeld door een officiële Gids (van Valencia&Go) die je de essentiële dingen vertelt die je moet weten over Valencia, evenals alle geheimen die verborgen liggen in de Cuevas de San José, zijn ongelooflijke geschiedenis en curiosa in detail (Engels en Spaans). Bovendien ga je tijdens de boottocht met een Gids mee die je onderweg Gidst en je wijst op enkele belangrijke plekken van het natuurwonder (kan in het Spaans zijn). Als je vragen hebt, kun je altijd de officiële Valencia & Go Gids vragen, hij zal bereid zijn om ze te beantwoorden wanneer je de grotten verlaat.
- Voor uw veiligheid : u mag alleen foto's maken in daarvoor bestemde zones. Om de grotfauna te beschermen is flitsfotografie niet toegestaan.
- Voor deze reguliere tour is ophalen bij Trasmed-Grimaldi, Moll de Ponent, Poblados Marítimos, 46024 Puerto de Valencia niet beschikbaar, omdat dit ontmoetingspunt exclusief is voor een ander product.

Here’s a polished but strongly worded review that keeps your main points while sounding like a genuine Tripadvisor review. I would not recommend this tour. It was advertised as a 4-hour guided experience, but in reality, about 3 of those 4 hours were spent sitting on a bus. If you’re expecting to spend most of your time exploring the caves, you’ll be very disappointed. Another major issue was that nowhere did they clearly explain beforehand that photography and video recording are not allowed inside the caves. Many of us only found out once we were already there, which was frustrating. The tour was also advertised as being conducted in both English and Spanish. While on the bus there was some English, once we entered the caves, the guide spoke almost exclusively in Spanish. None of the 14 English-speaking people in our group could understand what was being explained, so we completely missed out on the history and significance of the caves. To make matters worse, the advertisement claimed the bus was air-conditioned. It absolutely was not. The bus was unbearably hot, and the driver drove so slowly that there was almost no airflow. We spent hours feeling hot, sweaty, and uncomfortable. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the excessive time on the bus, the lack of English during the actual cave tour, the misleading advertising about the air conditioning, and the poor communication about the no-photo policy, this tour was nowhere near worth the money. Save your money and look for another way to visit the caves.
The tour itself was wonderful seeing the caves, our guide Jorge was awesome, I didnt give 5 stars because the day was very hot and the ac on the bus seemed to not fully work it was an extremely uncomfortable ride to and from the caves. I would most definitely do the tour again as long as we are given a different bus for transport.

Wonderful way to beat the intense heat! A little under an hour drive north of Valencia. Very well organized. The boat guide did not speak English but was not a big deal. Great for kids and adults alike.

As much as the caves were gorgeous, I booked the tour to be in English. So the pick up and the transport to the location was in English, however, the tour guide did not get on the boat with us. I do not expect every single person to know English so I understand the boat worker not speaking English, however there was plenty of space on the boat and I was expecting the guide to join the trip to translate about the history of the caves. Disappointed with the lack of communication of that as I would have wished to learn about the caves.

As stated in the tour description, the boatmen inside the caves may only speak Spanish, so our guide explains the history and key highlights in English before entering. Since the group is divided between two or more boats, it wouldn't be fair for the guide to join only one while the other group received no guidance. For that reason, our guides remain available afterwards to answer questions and clarify anything from the boat ride. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to make this clearer for future guests.
The truth is that I have no bad opinion about Ferran; he has been a very good guide. He was spectacular, very good with English; it was as if he were British. I would tell him to keep doing it the same way because it can't be done any better. I really liked how he explained and expressed himself in both languages, Spanish and English. I would repeat it 100 more times thanks to him. And seriously, thanks to him, the trip has been much more comfortable and much more cheerful.

A delightful tour, and accomplished guides. It is unfortunate that the audio system did not work so we were unable to get information along the way. But, the history information was very interesting. The caves were amazing! It was like Disneyland but without the music and added danger.
