Piazza del Popolo is een groot, iconisch plein in Rome, bekend om zijn centrale Egyptische obelisk, tweelingkerken en elegante symmetrie. Ooit was het een hoofdingang van de stad, maar nu dient het als een cultureel centrum en schilderachtig startpunt voor het verkennen van het historische centrum.
Piazza di Spagna is een van de beroemdste pleinen van Rome, bekend om de elegante Spaanse Trappen die leiden naar Trinità dei Monti. Aan de basis ligt de Barcaccia Fontein van Bernini. Het wordt omgeven door boetieks en cafés en is een levendige plek waar kunst, mode en geschiedenis samenkomen. Loop de trap op en geniet van een kopje koffie of gelato!

Naar Piazza Venezia rollen in je golfkar voelt episch. Dat gigantische witte gebouw? Het is de Altare della Patria – enorm en glanzend. Je gids zegt dat Mussolini speeches gaf vanaf dat balkon. Wild. Snag een paar foto’s, geniet van de chaos en vaar dan door naar de volgende Romeinse hotspot.
Deze oude tempel is enorm en nog steeds volledig intact. Wil je meer? Betaal een kleine ticketprijs en ga naar binnen. Massieve koepel, epische vibes.
Omgeven door barokke architectuur, fonteinen en levendige cafés is de sfeer zowel historisch als levendig. In het centrum trekt Bernini’s Fontein van de Vier Rivieren de aandacht. Het is een perfecte stop voor foto’s en een rustige wandeling.
Oorspronkelijk gebouwd als mausoleum voor keizer Hadrianus, werd het later een pauselijk bolwerk. De brug die eraan voorafgaat, bekleed met engelenbeelden, draagt bij aan zijn dramatische aanwezigheid. Een must-see.

The golf cart tour is a must as it gives a very complete overall view of the City. Our guide was superb- Matteo gave us information that we were curios about and took us to places/ churches that we wanted to visit. Overall A+ Very nice and cool tour!
Matteo picked us up and showed us the beautiful sites and told us a lot oh history. We missed a lot of traffic, he knew how to get around. It was a fantastic tour and I would recommend to everyone.
Our driver was good, but owner Ginvera had to move mountains to avoid us being stranded despite paying $80 extra to be picked up at the hotel advertised on the app. We were also confused about one of the emails containing wrong tour info, adding to the frustrations. She did pay for the extra cab experiences involved but only after our request then gave wrong hotel address to the cart driver. Not a good experience.
Hi Don, We’re really sorry to read this comment after having moved mountains to satisfy an extraordinary request for your tour. The app clearly allows to select Hotels within 2km radius of the center. You selected a Hotel with the same name, but a different address. Then told the cart driver that the address was different. The correct hotel was out of the admitted range and thus impossible for us to reach with an electric battery. I completely understand if this was done unintentionally on your end, but the detail made the difference here. You paid € 50,00 extra ($58,00, not $80,00) for the hotel pick-up, as clearly mentioned on the app, and also got 2 extra taxi rides. I find this a bit disappointing, but thank you for your constructive feedback and will do my best to make things clearer with customers much ahead of time to avoid these kinds of inconveniences. That was seriously the best tour! We got to really see the city and learn things we didn’t know. Our guide was amazing!! He even helped us find a non-touristy restaurant at the end!! We highly recommend!!!
