Tijdens deze Trastevere by Night Food & Wine Tour ontdek je een van de mooiste gebieden van Rome. Wees klaar om jezelf onder te dompelen in de lokale cultuur, bezoek familiebedrijf in deze buurt waar Roma's op zondag met hun gezin eten. De tour begint om 17.30 uur met een geweldig voorbeeld van Italiaanse voorgerechten en het beroemdste Italiaanse straatvoedsel, gevolgd door een uitgebreid diner, en dat alles terwijl je door de smalle geplaveide straatjes en steegjes van dit gebied loopt. Je proeft echt lokaal eten en leert over de cultuur die restaurants bezoeken die al generaties lang door de lokale bevolking en hun families worden gerund!
Er zijn meer dan 5 verschillende tussenstops tussen hartig en zoet om het echte lokale eten te proeven terwijl je dit gebied ontdekt dat een echte schat is. Als onderdeel van de tour zie je de kerk van St. Franciscus van Assisi in Ripa, het eiland Tiberine, de Sixtijnse brug, Piazza Trilussa en andere geweldige locaties. We had the most fabulous food and wine tour with Maria E! It was a private tour and Will and I highly recommend it. It is worth it and its very special! Maria was incredible! Her knowledge was superb and the food and wine tour was amazing! She had an incredible itinerary planned and my goodness the food was so so delicious as to was the wine! We ate and drank our way through the tour and walked through wonderful streets in Trastevere! Will and I were so full that we could not eat dinner that night! We did the 11am tour which Maria said was perfect as you got to see the beautiful colours of the gorgeous streets. The people at all the food places were so generous and kind and we really felt Italian for a day which was wonderful. We would never have found these great places without Maria! We finished at a fabulous family restaurant and my cacio e pepe was incredible and so was Will’s meat pasta plus great wine too! We forgot to take a photo but I managed a few others which i will pop bellow! If you want an incredible food and wine tour we can highly recommend! Thank you so much Maria E! The variety of the food stops on the tour was super and fun - even if you are familiar with Italian cuisine. Fabi shared lots of contextual information extending beyond the food experience, too. The tour agency has ties with many of the vendors who were given a heads up when to expect us. One word of strategic advice --- there are plenty of opportunities to stuff yourself with really good food as the tour progresses. .... so save some appetite for the gellato stop which is last.
Really great local food spots, Luca was an excellent tour guide. We got to try Roman dishes and they were very good.
