The tour was great and our tour guide wonderful and knowledgeable. I would only say that even though this says small group, we had about 15-20 of us, which was very crowded and seemed too big for such a small space. I think there should be a cap for small groups. Especially because we had no headsets.

Peter did a great job explaining a lot of history before we entered the catacombs. He had a great sense of humor and we enjoyed listening to him. We had to duck out early and Peter accommodated us by watching the clock and ensuring that we could exit the catacombs on time while the rest of our group continued. Our tour guide Heather was truly exceptional. This tour of the Catacombs of Domitilla was hands down the best of several tours we’ve taken during our stay in Rome. Her knowledge of the catacombs, and Roman history in general was impressive, as was her ability to weave an interesting, compelling narrative that kept our small group engaged and entertained for the entirety of the tour. Our only complaint was that the tour had to end! It’s well worth the price of admission and I would’ve been willing to pay more for another 30-60 minutes of exploring the catacombs with a guide if Heather’s caliber. Can’t recommend this tour enough, it should definitely not be missed!

Mike was a fabulous tour guide. Very knowledgeable. Gave a wonderful "presentation" before going into the catacombs. The historic backstory really brought the tour to life.
