Ga vanuit uw hotel richting Circus Maximus. Terwijl u verder rijdt, ontvouwt zich een adembenemend uitzicht op het oude wagenrenstadion, omarmd door de majestueuze Palatijnse heuvel, de residentie van Romeinse keizers.
Stop op de Aventijnse heuvel, historisch gezien de residentie van Romeinse consuls. Tegenwoordig is het de enige wijk met 19e-eeuwse villa's. Bezoek de Oranjetuin, waar u stopt om te genieten van een van de mooiste uitzichten van de stad. Kom langs de oude kerk van Santa Sabina, gebouwd in de jaren 1200, in uw golfkarretje en ga verder naar de Piramide van Cestius, de enige piramide gebouwd tijdens het Romeinse tijdperk die meer dan 2500 jaar heeft overleefd.
Het uitzicht op de piramide vanaf de golfkar zal werkelijk verbazingwekkend zijn. Met het 360 graden perspectief dat de golfkar biedt, voelt het alsof u bijna de hand kunt reiken en de geschiedenis kunt aanraken.
Stop bij de oude baden van Caracalla. Gebouwd door keizer Caracalla, wat vandaag de dag overblijft zijn de massieve ruïnes en de thermale baden binnen. Geniet van een prachtig uitzicht op deze enorme structuur omlijst door Romeinse dennen.
Bereik tenslotte het begin van de Oude Appische Weg. Vanaf het allereerste begin van de weg, zie de originele bestrating nog intact langs een groot deel van de route, de graven van Romeinse consuls begraven langs de weg, en de keizerlijke poort van San Sebastiano, die onaangetast is gebleven sinds de 3e eeuw na Christus - dit alles, ervaren vanuit uw golfkar.
Vanaf de San Sebastiano Gate is het ongeveer 10 minuten rijden met de golfkar naar de catacomben. Rijd langs de oude Aureliaanse Muren, gebouwd door keizer Aurelianus, die nog steeds staan als achtergrond van de oude hoofdstad van de wereld. Als de catacomben van San Callisto niet beschikbaar zijn dan brengen we u naar de catacombe van Sebastiano.

Great tour with Calippo!! We hit all the main spots of Rome, very efficiently and safely in our golf cart ride. We got a summary of the history of what we were looking at along the way. We stopped for a great sandwich and got to see Everything in three hours which was what we needed for our tight schedule. Very friendly service and highly recommend. We felt very comfortable and our time was well spent particularly avoiding walking and the sun by being in the golf cart. The communication was fabulous along the entire booking and meeting spot. I highly recommend this company for a great experience.
