We had the absolute best time. Our group ranged from 1 year of age to 75 years of age and everyone enjoyed it immensely. Our driver was knowledgable and wonderful with the children. The view in Sorrento for lunch was out of a postcard. The tour of Pompeii was incredibly engaging. We would absolutely recommend this experience!!

Amazing tour with Loretta! The driver was very nice with my kids. It is a long day but worth it, Sorrento is a dream city. Loretta guided us in Pompeii and we had a blast.

The driver and tour guide at Pompeii were fantastic but the tour itself was not so great. It’s ALOT of drive time. You get two hours in Pompeii and one hour in Positano. You don’t get time allotted for lunch. We were well under prepared and were thankful for gas station stops to grab snacks. Not exactly what I expected. I know food was not included in this tour but I didn’t realize lunch times were not factored in either. It would make sense to add additional time to allow for an hour lunch break. Three hours in Pompeii plus two hours would have been marvelous. It was 100% not worth the money you paid, especially because you get dropped off at the top of Positano. It takes 20 minutes each way to go up and down do you have to choose between spending 10-15 minutes at the water or eating food. If you have kids do not do this tour, do a full Day at Pompeii then a full Day to the coast.

We did a wonderful tour of Pompeii with Sonia. We had 3 kids aged 11, 9 & 7 and she was very sensitive to their needs and was able to make the tour work for all and bring the stories of Pompeii to life as we walked around. You could tell she loved the place and that spirit was infectious.

Roberta was an absolutely incredible tour guide! She kept both kids 10 and 5 captivated and made a very memorable experience even with twrrible weather! Also helped to make sure my daughter in a wheelchair didn't miss anything!! Roberta went out of her way to make sure we had a special experience!

Our driver spoke fluent English, and was very accommodating. He made us feel relaxed and in control of the day. We stayed at Positano a bit longer than expected and he called our tour guide at Pompeii and explained that we'd be late and made sure she did not leave! Once at Pompeii, the tour guide was fantastic! She was great with our 6 year-old twins. Explained it all at their level and kept their interest for almost 2 hours!

I booked this instead of the 8 or so train and taxi journeys required to see Pompeii and the Amalfi coast in a day trip from Rome. On the expensive side but it took care of all the admin needed for booking and scheduling the day and worth it for that and the peace of mind that provided. Our driver Stefano was a great host - genuinely amiable, considerate and knowledgeable about Rome and the road trip. A very comfortable car with Wifi to keep the near teenager and 6 year old occupied with devices when the 2.5 - 3hr journey felt long. Our guide at Pompeii, Adriana was wonderful, great with the kids with lots of treats, interactive explanations and just a lovely gentle manner that kept them engaged throughout the 2.5hr walk. Finally the drive along the coast, lunch on a family farm restaurant with great views and hearty pasta and the stopover at Positano finished off a great day. Thank you Stefano and Adriana!

We had a wonderful experience at Pompei with our tour guide Roberta. She was very experienced and made the tour exiting for our children. She kept them attentive by playing scavenger hunt games with them. We all had a positive experience at Pompei. Our tour guide Francesca and our driver were vey friendly. They picked us up at the hotel and drove us to Pompei on the way we stopped for quick pictures. We were invited to freshly squeezed orange juice on the road while we enjoyed the view of the Amalfi Coast. We were able to enjoy Sorrento on our own for two hours. Francesca recommended a fabulous ice cream shop. All around we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommended this tour.

We visited Rome over the holidays with our three boys (13,11,9) and booked this day trip. It was absolutely fantastic and the highlight of our vacation. Francesca and our driver picked us up at our hotel and answered all of our (and the kids million) questions as we drove to Pompeii. Our tour guide Roberta was wonderful - she kept a perfect pace and the boys were riveted by the information which she delivered in an accessible and interesting way. Her passion for the city was evident and contagious. We're all still raving about it and I have no doubt that my boys will remember the day for the rest of their lives - which was our hope planning this trip. From there we drove down the coast, which was a dream for me. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!
