Deze tour neemt je mee naar het hart van Rome, langs historische monumenten, op pittoreske markten, in prachtige restaurants en geheime plekjes buiten het toeristische pad.

Uw tour begint op Piazza Navona, een van de meest iconische pleinen van Rome, gebouwd op de plaats van een oud stadion. Beroemd om zijn prachtige fonteinen, levendige sfeer en barokke architectuur, het is ook een hub om te genieten van de Romeinse eetcultuur. De piazza is omgeven door cafés en trattoria's waar u kunt genieten van een espresso, genieten van een traditionele gelato, of klassieke Romeinse gerechten zoals supplì en pizza bianca proberen. Het is de perfecte plek om geschiedenis te combineren met een voorproefje van lokale smaken, precies waar deze tour over gaat!

We had the best time, best food and best guide with Massimiliano who was genuinely passionate about the food and history. We learned so much and ate so much. If you choose to do this tour, DO NOT eat beforehand! Loved it!

We had such a great time on the Secret Food Tour in Rome! It was the perfect way to experience the city through its food while learning about the neighborhoods and local history. Every stop was delicious, and we tried several things we probably would have never found on our own. Our guide was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Rome. The group was small, which made the experience feel relaxed and personal, and we never felt rushed. If you're looking for something beyond the typical tourist experience, I highly recommend this tour. Come hungry—you definitely won't leave that way!

This was such a fun - and very filling - tour! Rocio, our guide, was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgable, brimming with stories about the streets, piazzas and buildings we passed or visited. And the food, wow! You will NOT leave hungry, in fact, our tour began at 11:00 am and I didn’t think we’d be hungry again till breakfast! From the salumi to the suppli, from the lentils to the pizza and pasta…. The savory dishes were so good. And of course, what Italian food tour would be complete without cannoli and gelato?!? Check and check! We experienced all this while seeing the beauty of Roma around every corner. My entire family and even my 2-yr-old grandson enjoyed every minute! Rocio was the best guide we could have hoped for!

The food was incredible, and it was well spaced out so we never got too full during the experience. Our guide, Massimiliano was very well versed in the local food, and he gave us very helpful guides on how to best experience the food in Rome. We had wine, cheese, meats, pizza, pasta, cannolis, and gelato without any of it being too overwhelming, and there were fun facts about the origins of the food and the monuments we passed between each restaurant. If you want good food from authentic, family-owned places, this is definitely a great way to get it.
