Villa Ada en Villa Borghese openen de deuren naar weelderige tuinen en historische gebouwen, waar u de sfeer van een vervlogen tijdperk kunt ademen. En we nemen je ook mee naar het hart van de wijk Coppedè, een verborgen architectonisch juweeltje dat je ademloos achterlaat. De tempel bevindt zich in het midden van het kleine eiland op het kunstmatige meer in Villa Borghese. In die tijd werden in feite reproducties van oude tempels en standbeelden gerealiseerd als decoratief landschapselement. Geniet maximaal van dit romantische hoekje in Villa Borghese door een roeiboot te huren!
De uitvinder Giovan Battista Embriaco bouwde deze hydrochronometer (ook bekend als een waterklok) in 1867 en stelde hem tentoon op de Wereldtentoonstelling van 1867 in Parijs. In 1873 werd de hydrochronometer in de tuinen van Villa Borghese geplaatst in een fontein ontworpen door de architect Gioacchino Ersoch. De waterklok werkt 24/7.
Als u op zoek bent naar bezienswaardigheden in Rome, mag u het Pincio-terras niet missen. Pincian Hill is niet een van de zeven heuvels van Rome, maar het is een populair panoramisch uitkijkpunt onder de Romeinen. Vanaf hier kunt u het historische centrum en het Vaticaan van bovenaf zien.

- Zuigelingen : Zuigelingen (tot 20kg/44 lbs) rijden gratis in een voorzien kinderzitje
- Kinderen : Kinderen (minder dan 139cm) moeten een fietsverlenging (tag-along/trailer) gebruiken
- Leeftijd e-bike : Minimumleeftijd om een e-bike te mogen besturen is 12 jaar
- In het geval van officiële/openbare feesten en evenementen in het centrum van de stad Rome, kan de touroperator een of meer hoogtepunten van de reisroute vervangen.

We completely enjoyed the bike tour with Giorgio. He was patient, kind, friendly, knowledgeable and spoke perfect English (he also does tours in Italian, French and Spanish). We ended up getting a private tour as there were no other guests (I thought the minimum for the group tour was 4, so we really lucked out to have Giorgio and a private tour). We had a few bumps in the trip, which Giorgio handled with grace. First, there was an international meeting being held in a building on the route, and the normal tour route needed to be adjusted. Second, one of our bikes got a flat tire. Giorgio gave his bike to my husband and rode the bike with the flat tire. Third, while my husband was riding Giorgio's bike, Giorgio's back pack fell off the bike, and it wasn'tniticed until we stopped for him to share some information with us. Giorgio had to retrace our route to retrieve it. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Our guide, Manfredi, was THE best possible for us. He was very thoughtful for our needs and extremely knowledgeable of the sights we were seeing! He took as many pictures of us as we wanted. Our safety was a prime concern of his as he would explain our path to us if we were going near traffic areas. Another person in addition to Manfredi helped get our bikes prepared for us and he was very polite and helpful. Overall, we were very pleased with the bike tour and would recommend it to anyone desiring such an adventure!
