Tijdens deze geweldige tour zul je meer te weten komen over een van de mooiste kunstwerken in Italië, je gids zal je persoonlijk uitleg geven over het Colosseum en het verhaal van het Romeinse rijk, daarna ga je verder naar het oude Rome waar je krijgt les over het verhaal van de Palatijnse heuvels en zodra de tour voorbij is, zal je gids je naar het Ancient Forum leiden, waar je de tijd kunt nemen om zelf een wandeling te maken en foto's te maken.

Het Colosseum is het belangrijkste symbool van Rome. Het is een imposant bouwwerk dat, met bijna 2000 jaar geschiedenis, u terug in de tijd zal brengen om de manier van leven in het Romeinse rijk te ontdekken.
De Palatijn is een van de zeven heuvels van Rome en is een van de oudste delen van de stad. In latere jaren werd de heuvel een woonwijk die de adel aantrok.
Forum was moerasland dat de Romeinen het gebied drooglegden en er een centrum van politieke en sociale activiteit van maakten. Het was de thuisbasis van enkele van de oudste en belangrijkste gebouwen in de oude stad

The colosseum is beautiful and a wonderful site to see but the tour guide seemed rushed and was walking so fast we could barely keep up. He was very hard to understand and spoke very low. Half of the tour, 10 people left in the middle of the tour because they were uninterested at that point. I loved looking around but the narration was lacking.
Very detailed explanation of the colosseum and its history chronologically. Forum is a much more complex place and hard to visualize what it would have been like as there are so many ruins.
Sylvia from City Wonders was great guide, very engaging, covering a lot of ground (literally and figuratively) with enthusiasm and deft use of storytelling. Combined interesting scientific and historical analysis with tangible stories about the experience of gladiators, spectators, politicians, women, and even the animals. Also gave great overview of Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. Only regret is that Forum closed around 4:15, and we didn’t get to see everything.

The magnificent coliseum!! It was great to skip the line.our guide was very passionate and new so many interesting facts.we were even more impressed with the forum. Our guide said theres 2000 years of history here and ohh he was right. U definitely need a guided tour of the coliseum and forum.also our group was small that was nice.
