Een rondleiding door het meest iconische Romeinse monument in de fascinerende nachtelijke sfeer na de reguliere openingstijden als de drukte is verdwenen. Je ontmoet je tourcoördinator buiten het metrostation Colosseum aan de overkant van de straat van het monument. Na een korte introductie begeleidt onze vriendelijke gids je naar de skip-the-line ingang, voor snelle toegang. Eenmaal binnen begin je je tocht onder de grond en verken je de tunnels, kamers en kuilen van het Colosseum. Dit gedeelte van het Colosseum is beperkt tot het publiek en laat slechts een beperkt aantal bezoekers per dag toe, dus geniet van deze exclusieve kans om meer te zien dan de meeste mensen doen. Bewonder de liften die de jachtspelen van Rome tot leven brachten. Vervolgens heb je toegang tot het gereconstrueerde deel van de arenavloer om de verhalen van de bloedige gladiatorengevechten te horen. Je staat op dezelfde plek waar de spelen plaatsvonden. Dit is een unieke ervaring voorbehouden aan een beperkt aantal bezoekers. Mis het niet!

It was great tour . It was absolutely beautiful would definitely go back and do the night tour better then the day time
As others said its a scam. Its not at night. Its not private. You do not go the arena floor or underground. You just overpay for standard access. There's still thousands of people there in broad daylight. I could tell by the guides face when I said something that it happens all the time. Viator did a partial refund. Its not about the money. You took something that I was providing for my family and clearly do it every day to other families.

Well, it's summer, so it is not nighttime at 5pm. Colosseum closes at 6. There isn't enough time to get the full experience. Meeting time was 445. Guide didn't show up until 530. Other tours offer Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Forum for way less money. Communication started out good but then messages did not get communicated. 2 of us couldn't make it due to illness and the 2 that made it were rushed. They were the 2 most excited for the tour. Such a huge disappointment.

Our guide arrived approximately 5–10 minutes late due to difficulty finding parking in the busy area around the Colosseum, as he explained to the group upon arrival. We understand this was an inconvenience, and we apologize. However, we want to clarify that the guide did not arrive at 5:30 PM as suggested; the delay was minimal and did not significantly impact the tour duration. Regarding communication: We acknowledge that our communication could have been more consistent. Night tour is the way to go. It’s much cooler and the crowd is nonexistent. Moraro did an amazing job guiding us step by step through the colosseum. He helped take our pictures at all the right spots. The operators communication was great so we found the meet up point easily. We felt like it was just us touring the colosseum.

The tour guide was WONDERFUL, but the tour we purchased included the Arena Floor and when we arrived, the tour company gave us tickets for the Colosseum without the arena floor. When I asked they were very nice and immediately called someone to look into it. The tour company said Viator didn’t send the right information to them, so they didn’t buy us the right ticket. There was nothing they could do at that time, but they offered us some money back. I’ll confirm I received it when I return home.
