De pianoconcerten zijn opgedragen aan de uitstekende en populairste Poolse componist - Fryderyk Chopin. Zijn werken weerklinken in concertzalen over de hele wereld. Tijdens het soloconcert presenteert de pianist zijn bekendste composities, zoals: Impromtu Fantaisie, Preludes en Scherzo No. 2. Chopin bezocht Italië slechts één keer tijdens zijn leven - Genua - maar toen hij in Warschau woonde, kwam hij de muziek en cultuur van het Apennijnenschiereiland tegen vanwege de Italianen die in Warschau woonden en om hem heen woonden. Naast werken van Fryderyk Chopin horen we echt Italiaanse composities in unieke arrangementen voor solo piano van componisten als G. Verdi, P. Mascagni en G. Puccini. Great playing and interpretation of some very technically and stylistically challenging pieces. A nice mix of music by Chopin and other composers that flowed well.
Fabulous concert with an amazingly adept pianist who played Chopin, Liszt and Debussy and others perfectly.
Excellent concert, fine playing especially Chopin and Gershwin.

It was beautiful. I loved it. The pianist was great. A real moment of break in this constantly changing city. A suspension of grace and blessing in a sacred place.
I recently attended the "Chopin & Italian Friends" concert at the Chiesa Valdese and it was a fantastic experience. The venue is beautiful and intimate, with incredible acoustics that make the piano sound rich and clear. It’s the perfect escape from the busy streets of Rome. The pianist was superb, showing great technical skill and deep emotion, especially during the Chopin pieces. The program was well-balanced and very moving. A must-see for music lovers visiting Rome. Highly recommended!
Lovely music in beautiful setting. Nice venue. Good for the kids to hear some live music. Also quiet company. We enjoyed it.
Chopin and friends tonight was a real treat. The pianist was excellent and we loved listening to him play, as well as explaining a little of the history for each piece. Definitely worth a visit and we’ll definitely look out for more concerts when we next return.
Chopin's areas so much technique little soul, plus he seemed in a hurry to leave. Garshwin much better, good.

The pianist gave a beautiful performance and explanations of the pieces she was playing. It was a small group which made for a very intimate performance. The venue was nice and the staff were very kind and welcoming. The pews were very creaky so maybe not ideal for small children who can’t sit still as the whole room would hear any movement you made.
