Dit prachtige gebouw wordt beschouwd als de best bewaarde oude tempel ter wereld en de meest verbazingwekkende architecturale structuur van de oude wereld. Michelangelo was zo onder de indruk van het Pantheon dat hij het voor het eerst zag als 'engelachtig en niet menselijk'
De Spaanse Trappen is een van de meest gerenommeerde plaatsen in Rome. Piazza di Spagna in een van de beste gebieden van Rome. De trappen verbinden het onderste Piazza di Spagna met het bovenste Piazza Trinita dei Monti, met zijn prachtige tweelingtoren die de skyline domineert.
Piazza Navona is een van de grootste en mooiste pleinen in Rome met drie indrukwekkende fonteinen, waaronder la Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi met zijn grote obelisk in het midden. De barokke kerk van Sant'Agnese in Agone biedt een indrukwekkend decor. Rond het plein zijn restaurants en straatartiesten, schilders en muzikanten die een levendige sfeer aan de scène toevoegen.
Je hoeft jezelf niet af te vragen "waar is de Trevifontein", terwijl je vakkundig door de straten van de stad wordt genavigeerd. Je wilt een munt in de Trevi-fontein gooien, de grootste en beroemdste fontein in Italië (te zien in de La Dolce Vita-film van Fellini), zodat je op een dag naar Rome terugkeert. Het Colosseum is het belangrijkste symbool van Rome. Het is een imposante constructie die je met bijna 2000 jaar geschiedenis terug in de tijd brengt om de manier van leven in het Romeinse rijk te ontdekken. De bouw van het Colosseum begon in het jaar 72 onder het rijk van Vespasianus en werd voltooid in het jaar 80 tijdens het bewind van de keizer Titus. Na voltooiing werd het Colosseum het grootste Romeinse amfitheater van 188 meter lang, 156 meter breed en 57 meter hoog.

Best money spent! Night tour was phenomenal. Covered many historic sites across Rome in 3 hours. Driver was excellent in regards to explaining historical aspects of the city and was very personable, knowledgeable and maximized our time to see as much as we could. Oh my gosh amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing. The driver was extremely accommodating. He was extremely informative and he made us feel extremely comfortable. We completed this booking in November 2019 as a girls trip and would definitely book again.

We did this tour on our first night in Rome. Peter was our guide and took us all over the city and kept my teen aged sons engaged the entire time. Absolutely recommend this tour. Nothing better than seeing the eternal city at night. Awesome experience. Outstanding!!!!!

We had a fabulous time doing the Rome by night tour with Stefano! He was very knowledgable and took us to all the wonderful sights of Rome with the buildings all lit up and hardly any crowds. We have been using Rome in Limo for many years now, when we are in Italy, and they are the absolute best!

We had the most amazing night tour of Rome with driver Peter who went out of his way to ensure we got to see as many sights as possible. Rome in Limo have been amazing since I first got in touch and even organised a transfer for us from Umbria to Rome ( with lovely Peter as the driver again). We are planning to return to Rome with my parents hopefully next year and will not hesitate to use Rome in Limo again for some tours. Professional throughout with great drivers, they really did make our trip.

We had a group of 8. Some of us had been to Rome previously, so we opted to see Rome by Night. Our driver & guide was Nikolo. He was born and raised in Rome, so he had a wealth of information to share. Evening is a great time to see the city, as the temperatures were a little cooler, and the setting sun provided a beautiful backdrop. The Colliseum, Trevi Fountain, and Vatican take on different looks between the sunset, and their illuminating lights turned on. Nick also knew good overlooks to get a wide view of the city. We also used Rome in Limo to take us to the port from our hotel. We had Nikolo again, and he was just as punctual & helpful. Exceeded our expectations.

This was our sixth time using Rome in Limo and it was as good as the first. The tours are really wonderful, private, informative and incredibly affordable. Rome by night is so awesome, we do it every visit, and it never gets old. It's the perfect way to kick off a trip to one of our favorite cities. I would highly recommend the tour to first time visitors or seasoned veterans as there is always something new to see and learn.

We wanted to see Rome at night and because of all of the positive reviews we decided to book a Sunday night. This tour exceeded our expectations! Our driver, Enrico, picked us up 10 minutes early and away we went. The Mercedes sedan was extremely clean and roomy for 4 adults. Enrico was so friendly, knowledgable, and took us to the best sites...Roman Forum, Piazza Navona, Basilica, Trevi, Colossuem, Trastevere, and another local secret place which was mind-blowing. Ended with Prosecco! The tour was 3 hours and flew by in an instant. Highly recommend this tour company, in particular, Rome at Night with Enrico. You will not be disappointed.
