Geniet van een maanlichtwandeling door de geplaveide straten van Rome en zie enkele van de mooiste fonteinen en pleinen schitterend verlicht. Je verlaat deze tour en wil Rome niet verlaten. De Eeuwige Stad 's nachts is vol met prachtige uitzichten, heerlijke aroma's en zachte muziek die door de lucht zweeft, waardoor de stad een romantisch en magisch gevoel krijgt. Het historische centrum staat vol met ongelooflijke monumenten, gedurfd verlicht en een koelere temperatuur, waardoor de avond een perfect moment is om de stad te verkennen.

Deze tour begint op Piazza di Spagna aan de voet van de wereldberoemde Spaanse Trappen. Je gids zal je hier ontmoeten en nadat je een korte geschiedenis van de trappen hebt gegeven, krijg je de kans om de omliggende Quartiere Inglese (Engelse wijk) te bewonderen, de prachtige wijk rond de trappen die al honderden jaren het centrum van het toerisme in Rome is jaar en heeft iedereen, van Ernest Hemingway tot Kim Kardashian, door de straten zien slenteren en koffie zien drinken in cafés.
Al snel gaan we naar de Trevi-fontein en passeren onderweg een paar verborgen schatten. De fontein is mogelijk de beroemdste ter wereld en de moderne verlichting die hem van onder water verlicht, geeft de beelden een bijna ander werelds uitzicht, waardoor velen zeggen dat het eigenlijk beter is om in het donker te bezoeken. Je gids zal ervoor zorgen dat iedereen tijd overhoudt om hun munten in te gooien, zoals de traditie in Rome is, en dan gaan we naar het Pantheon.
Het Pantheon werd voltooid in het begin van de tweede eeuw en het blijft een van de meest indrukwekkende archeologische prestaties aller tijden, en is nog steeds in gebruik als kerk
Na het Pantheon te hebben bewonderd, lopen we naar Piazza Navona waar elegante fonteinen en statige paleizen samenkomen met een van de meest opvallende uitzichten in de stad. In de zomer zijn er kunstenaars te vinden die hun werken 's nachts verkopen, terwijl in december de kerstavondmarkt wordt gehouden waar u traditionele Italiaanse geschenken en snoep kunt kopen.

Our group tour ended up be a private tour and we felt so lucky to have a history professor be our guide. We really learned a lot and had a great time in seeing a lot of the ironic landmarks at night, which takes for some great photos! We did this as the first night after landing in Rome, which works well as it ends at 8, then gives you time to rest and sleep afterwards. I highly recommend it!

Small group tour turned out to be a private tour. Guide was also a history professor who made the layers of Rome's history come alive. Also gave us an excellent dinner recommendation ( where locals and tourists were dining).

Daniel was a fine guide, easygoing and knowledgeable. Took us to see interesting things on a very nice night. Tour was a hair under 2 hours; not sure if we were just fast and saw everything that would take 2-3 hours (as the website says).

Our guide was imformative and had such a nice way of showing us the city that was supposed to be a long tour ,was actually fun and time just flew -10/10 on our guide ,she was a star connecting both with myself and my wife aswell as my adult kids .we all said afterwards what a pleasure she was .

This was a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with and oriented to the city of Rome. It was a very small group so it was very easy to hear the guide and ask questions. Our guide was incredibly knowledgable regarding the history, the theology, the culture and orientation of the city. He obviously had a passion for ancient history and his excitement sharing his wisdom made the tour even more enjoyable. I have read other reviews where the guide leaves without people when they are running late. This company called me 20 minutes before the tour started to check my location and ensure I had directions, which was so helpful as it was my first day in Rome after a very long overnight travel day! I was so appreciative! Absolutely wonderful and professional tour!
