- De “groepsreis” start met een minimum van 4 deelnemers, als dit aantal niet wordt bereikt, krijgt u een alternatief of een volledige terugbetaling aangeboden.
- Onze groepsrondleidingen zijn voor maximaal 8 personen.
- Ongeveer 90% van deze tour vindt plaats op de Romeinse basiliek van de Via Appia Antica. Er is geen autoverkeer, omdat alleen de auto's van de bewoners toegang hebben. Er zijn slechts twee overtochten gepland wanneer we het Regionaal Park Appia Antica verlaten om het Acquedotti Park te betreden; en wanneer we van het Parco di Tor Fiscale naar het Caffarella Park gaan
- De reisduur in Shuttle van Circo Massimo naar Via Appia Antica is ongeveer 20 minuten.
- Basis- tot gemiddelde fietsvaardigheden zijn vereist om aan deze activiteit deel te nemen, aangezien deze buiten de gebaande paden en op het platteland plaatsvindt.
- De gids behoudt zich, na een briefing, de absolute en onmiskenbare vrijheid om deelnemers die niet geschikt worden geacht voor competenties of problemen met betrekking tot de gezondheid van lichaam / geest niet toe te staan aan de tour, geen vergoeding zal worden uitgegeven in deze gevallen.
- De pasgeborenen tot 20 kg die reizen op een kinderstoel en deelnemen aan de tour als onze gasten.
- Kinderen tot 139 cm nemen deel aan de tour met een kinderverlenging.
- Kinderen kunnen vanaf 12 jaar met hun E-bike rijden.
- In het geval van officiële/openbare feesten en evenementen in het centrum van Rome, kan de touroperator een of meer van de hoogtepunten van de route vervangen.

What a fantastic way to experience a part of Rome that not everyone gets to see. The Appian way is incredible, followed by views of the Aqueducts that we will never forget. The caves and catacombs were fantastic. I can't say enough about this tour - my wife and 2 kids (20 and 22) were initially skeptical when I booked it and afterwards said it was the best tour we EVER did. The electric bikes were easy to use and not strenuous at all. Last but not least, our guide, Aleviandante, was informative and FUN. This is a must do adventure - don't 2nd guess it!
The ride along the aqueduct’s would have been worth it but the tour of the catacombs was an amazing bonus . Marco was a top notch guide who knows the area and took us to several local gem places we never would have discovered on our own. The biking among the three of us ( two 15 years and a 57 year old ) was not difficult . If you’re not comfortable on the bumpier parts of appian there are smoother paths on the side of the road . We took the morning version to avoid the August heat and we were happy with that choice. Great job Marco!!!

This was hands down one of the best tours we’ve ever been on. We are middle aged couple with 3 young adult kids (23,20,16) and we all had a great time. I’m 53 and kinda chubby and pretty out of shape and I had absolutely no problem completing the ride. Husband is 55 and has arthritis and some mobility issues (can walk but can get painful) and he had no trouble with this ride either……and it had been years since either one of us had been on a bike. Our guide, Alessio was wonderful. He gave us all time to get accustomed to the E-bike and then lead us on a great journey through history. He is very knowledgeable with the history of the road and the aquaducts. Had such great energy and you can tell he really enjoys what he does. He was patient with everyone’s abilities and very caring. We took the early 8am tour to beat the August heat and it was just a very pleasant, relaxing informative ride. The catacombs were very interesting. Maybe a tad underwhelming if you’ve been to the ones in Paris, but still well worth the stop. Bring sunscreen and a water bottle. There are plenty of stops along the way to fill it up. Definitely recommend this trip to most everyone regardless of age or abilities. If you can ride a bike, you can do it! The “e” part of the bike makes it so easy! Thank you Alessio for such a memorable experience.

My family of 5 had the best time on this tour. We are husband and wife with 3 young adult kids (23, 20, 16). Hubby and I haven’t been on bikes in years. We were a little worried it would be too much. I’m a bit chubby and out of shape and hubby has arthritis and doesn’t have the best mobility. And this tour was so easy for the both of us. Our guide, Alessio was so great. Gave us all time to get accustomed to the bikes and the features. Was so knowledgeable about the history of the trail and the aqueducts. He was patient and caring to everyone’s abilities. The “e” part of the bike makes this so easy and fun. We had the 8am tour, so we beat the hottest part of the August day. Definitely wear sunscreen and a hat and bring a water bottle. Plenty of places to fill up along the route. I highly recommend this tour!

Was a fantastic half day tour through the country side. E-bikes worked great and the guide did a fantastic job. This was a last minute book and I highly recommend it to everyone. It’s not super challenging so as long as your health is not extremely poor you will do fine.
