Spring aan boord van een comfortabele elektrische golfkar voor een indrukwekkende ondergrondse rondleiding door de Catacomben van de Via Appia. Deze reis neemt je mee terug naar de 3e eeuw na Christus en verkent de intrigerende geschiedenis van Rome, weg van de chaos en het verkeer van de stad. Onze chauffeur brengt je veilig naar een van de meest verborgen en merkwaardige bestemmingen van Rome: de eerste christelijke catacomben, een plaats van begrafenis en aanbidding voor vroege christenen. Een officiële gids laat je tijdens een bezoek van 40 minuten kennismaken met de geschiedenis van deze oude site. Je zult versteld staan en gefascineerd zijn door de mysteries van deze uitgebreide labyrinten van graven, graven en heilige plaatsen, die een minder bekende kant van de geschiedenis van Rome blootleggen. Op weg naar de Via Appia zullen we vanaf het bord van onze kar bewonderen dat de Thermen van Caracalla waarschijnlijk werden gebouwd tussen 212 (of 211) en 216/217 na Christus, tijdens het bewind van de keizers Septimius Severus en Caracalla.
Neem deel aan een uitstekende rondleiding door de allereerste en belangrijkste Romeinse catacomben langs de rustige Via Appia, buiten het drukke centrum van Rome, op het comfortabele bord van een elegante golfkar.
Genaamd de koningin van de Romeinse oude wegen, gebouwd in 312 voor Christus, Unesco Heritage uit 2024.

The golf cart segment was top notch. Cristina was charming, knowledgeable and full of spirit and e energy. She was so good at looking out for us all. The catecombs guide was interesting but at times hard to understand. The group was possibly a little too big. The experience was excellent in terms of what we were viditing
Christina was absolutely amazing. She explained a lot on the way there and the golf cart was a very cool way to travel especially with kids. Christina kept the kids very engaged, she is super friendly and absolutely lovely.The catacombs are very interesting and it was a nice cool down before a very hot day in Rome. Definitely recommend this tour!
Traveling by golf cart was a great way to visit a few sites in Rome and visit the Catacombs. We had trouble finding the meet-up location and arrived a little late, however Christina was very understanding and was determined to show us around and get us to the Catacombs on time. We throughly enjoyed the ride and seeing the beautiful Appian Way. Thanks Christina for a great start of our Italian vacation.
Very nice tour, Christina was a great host and the guide for the tour of the Catacombs was very knowledgeable.
The catacombs are a historical landmark. The section on the tour has had all of the bones removed. The drive down the Appian Way was as interesting as the catacombs

Cristina was passionate and very experienced on our golf cart tour of the Appian Way and Catacombs. She was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. Cristina was wonderful! She was fantastic with our kids, and gave us lots of information as we drove to the catacombs about the parts of the city we drove past (Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus, etc). The catacombs were absolutely unreal - hard to believe there were over 500,000 people buried at one point! Highly recommend this tour!

In a city such as rome its great to walk around and see the sites, I would have never thought about a golf cart tour. The tour allowed me to see sites in rome and not walk too much. The tour was on time and had a good amount of history and detail Cristina really did a great job managing this event. The catacombs was a great experience too an amazing experience overall.

Great early morning tour at 9 am with Cristina. Beautiful drive to Catacombs on golf cart. The tour guide at catacombs was great as well. We beat the heat and crowds and were first in the catacombs. Would highly recommend
