Slechts ongeveer 3 km van het Colosseum, is er een plek die je absoluut moet bezoeken! Wil je het veilig ontdekken, weg van het stadsverkeer? Fiets met ons over de Via Appia Antica vanaf het voor autoverkeer afgesloten gedeelte en ontketen uw zin in avontuur! Deze route combineert het heden van de gouden velden van het Romeinse platteland nog steeds bezocht door lokale herders, met het glorieuze verleden van de Monumentale Graftombes en ruïnes van het oude Rome die langs de kant van de weg staan. Elke afgelegde km is een duik in de geschiedenis, die u steeds dichter bij de rust en stilte van het Parco degli Acquedotti brengt. Hier vertellen de bogen van de imposante aquaducten over de baanbrekende technische hoogstandjes van de oude Romeinen. Geniet in de schaduw van eeuwenoude bomen van de verhalen verteld door uw gids, het betoverende landschap doet de rest. - Route : 90% van deze route volgt de oude Romeinse bestrating (basolato) van de Appian Way, waar openbaar autoverkeer verboden is (alleen toegankelijk voor bewoners). Slechts twee korte wegkruisingen zijn nodig om te navigeren tussen het Appia Antica Regional Park, Aquaduct Park, Tor Fiscale en Caffarella Parken.
- Wijzigingen in de reisroute : De exploitant kan de hoogtepunten van de reisroute vervangen (bijvoorbeeld om redenen van openbare evenementen of veiligheid) om de groepsveiligheid te waarborgen.
- Rijervaring : Een basis-medium fietsniveau is verplicht.
- Discretie van de Gids : Een test vóór vertrek wordt uitgevoerd. De Gids kan deelname weigeren (geen restitutie) als een gast ongeschikt is vanwege gebrek aan bekwaamheid of gezondheidsproblemen.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Michele. The bike tour exploring the Appia Way and the aqueducts, after the catacombs tour is a must book - and a great value!
We did this bike tour on the Appian Way with Matteo and it was a wonderful experience. Since it was August and low season we were alone and Matteo went out of his way to show us the best places, he took photos and videos of us with excellent quality and with a welcoming closeness. In the end we spent the whole morning talking about history, visiting fascinating places (some with a surprise) and enjoying this wonderful experience, which we recommend without a doubt!

This was a highlight of our trip to Rome so far! We enjoy nature, learning and unique experiences and this had all of it! Marco was such a great tour guide! He incorporated history, meditation, philosophy, and even silence to make this an excursion one where we experienced awe and peace! Having the E-bikes (and turbo mode) was so helpful and really made the trip accessible to two middle aged out of shape people — haha! Thank you, Marco!
Bike ride was really fun, good bikes. Could have spent more time on Appian Way. Its a long way from the Appian Way to the Viaducts through residential area (not scenic). Guide was a nice guy, not loads of information given, just a few bits read out of a guide book. Catacombs were ok. No skulls or bones. Interesting enough tour. Waited ages to start the tour. Due to start at 3.45, didn't begin until after 4pm. Its a long walk, up hill, from the Catacombs to the bike rental collection. Lots of points where you need to dismount and push your bike on the tour. Nothing to see on the second half of the tour, after the viaducts you come back on main roads. It was a fun afternoon, but ai expected more, could have rented e-bikes and just ridden around on our own for a lot less. Its a 30min taxi ride from the Coloseum area.

The tour was very nice. The electric bikes did all the work for us and allowed us to fully enjoy the views of the aqueducts along the Apian Way. Our tour guide, Renato, was especially friendly and knowledgeable about the area and its history. He kept us safe on the roads and took pictures of me and my family. The bike mechanic, Martin, was also very helpful; especially after the tour. We were unfamiliar with the taxi-system so martin helped us out and got us a taxi back to our hotel after the tour had ended. Overall, the tour was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

We had a fantastic time on the Appia Aqueduct park tour. The bikes made for easy experience overall. Ricardo was an excellent guide, knowledgable, and friendly. We learned so much on the guided ride and the extreme heat was not an issue with plenty of thought out shady stops. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Riccardo was an amazing guide. He was very helpful when we had questions and was patient when riding the bikes making sure you weren’t left behind. Best tour we did on our trip and really had an unforgettable experience. Exploring the catacombs was also very Interesting. Didn’t expect the history of it to be so rich but it was definitely a good time. 11/10 tour highly recommend.
Riding the bike in Italy was amazing. Renato our tour guide did an excellent job guiding us and telling us about the history of the Apian Road. I appreciate his patience with me. At the beginning, I was having trouble getting used to the bike, since I have not ride a bike for almost 40 years and he suggested an alternative route, but I tough it out and we did great!
