Please come!! This was so fun, it’s a quiet studio with such caring people. They take care of the process step by step, giving you practice cloth so you can test your skills with your chosen design before you commit. It genuinely is such a nice break and so rewarding to make a craft while engaging with the city’s traditional art forms. Take a break from the bustle and make a truly worth it souvenir you’ll use and love since it’s your choice out of hundreds of patterns!

The family running the museum and experience is great fun. We all created a piece we liked. It would be fun to do it again and use two colors. The exhibit upstairs shows how complex the art form can be.

We had a wonderful experience! The staff was patient and helpful. I love the art we made. We will enjoy our memories of this activity.

A really lovely experience and such a nice souvenir to bring home. Although very limited English speaking teachers, you could still understand what was needed to be done and how this process was completed.

Very fun and interesting traditional dyeing process. Well worth the visit, however, there wasn’t much instruction that we could understand which led to our banners not looking great.

This is a super fun, though not easy crafting experience. Though their English isn’t great, they try hard and are patient and kind. This can take a while to do as you need to trace over the image many times. We didn’t realize the cost of the bags/cloth you’re dyeing are included already. For the thicker bags, you can actually choose a different pattern for the backside. You can’t do this if using a thinner material that is only meant for one sided dyeing. We spent almost 2.5 hours here and it was a fun and memorable time for us all.

Fantastic, book this before booking anything else. We did chopsticks, mart cooking and kintsugi. All were fun but most genuine was absolutely Rocketsu coloring! Book this!

This workshop was a great experience into pattern dying clothes. There was a huge selection of prints and items to dye. The staff was lovely in helping and explaining the process. We had a great time and our finished products look amazing :)
