Retourtransfers inbegrepen bij hotels in het centrum van Kaapstad of hotels in Sea Point & Camps Bay 1 Robbeneiland Ticket inbegrepen per persoon * Transfer naar de Nelson Mandela Gateway door een gekwalificeerde gids * Begeleid de gasten naar de boot naar Robbeneiland (Herinnering er kan een lange wachtrij zijn tijdens het wachten om aan boord te gaan) * Bootdokken bij Robbeneiland. Alle passagiers lopen naar de bus die een Robbeneiland-gids aan boord heeft. * Busrit rond het eiland * Gasten worden afgezet bij de gevangenis. Een ex-gevangene zal de gasten vergezellen voor een rondleiding door de gevangenis, inclusief de cel van Nelson Mandela * Tijd om te luisteren naar gevangenisverhalen over de tijd van de gids in de gevangenis tijdens het apartheidstijdperk * Boottocht terug naar het vasteland * Verblijf aan de waterkant voor een maaltijd *eigen rekening*, verken de waterkant of keer met ons terug naar het hotel. Houd er rekening mee dat onze gids niet met gasten naar het eiland gaat, omdat de Robbeneiland-gidsen gasten op het eiland begeleiden. Viator heeft geen gidsen in Zuid-Afrika, wij zijn lokale gidsen.

Fazilia picked us up punctually from our hotel. She showed us a few places on the way to the harbour and we grabbed a few photographs. She saw us through security going on the boat and left us to board. The tour itself is a must for any trip to Cape Town. A bus tour of the island was followed by a poignant trip to the prison with a guided tour by an ex prisoner. We saw Mandela’s cell and exercise yard before returning to the mainland. Fasilia was waiting for us and took us for cake coffee and more photos before dropping us at our hotel. She was the type of guide who goes the extra mile and seems to know everyone in Cape Town. I certainly recommend this trip and our wonderful guide Fasilia.

An excellent tour that I think anyone looking to get an understanding of the past in SA should go on. Faz is an extremely passionate and honest guide that gives an authentic tour of the city with insight that cannot be gained from a guide book. Robben island itself is coordinated well with an exprisoner giving his story on the past and a young tour guide giving his thoughts also on the future. Hugely recommended.

Our guide Fazz was fantastic, full of interesting bits of information, anecdotes and general all round fun. She took us to see many key sites in Cape Town as well as sorting out our Robben Island tickets. We had forgotten our IDs but her connections soon got round this problem. Finally she took lots of photos of us and what sapped them to us which was really helpful. We highly recommend her.

This tour was very eye-opening and educational and I recommend anyone in Cape Town to book it. Fazz and her team were awesome and were able to schedule a tour time for us after the ferry operator cancelled on us twice and when we spoke with the ferry operator directly, they told us there’s no way we’d get rescheduled. However, Fazz and her team worked their magic and got us tickets during our limited time here! She also taught us a lot during our time with her!

Myself & 3 friends had the most amazing afternoon whilst doing the Robben Island tour. Out tour guide Faziela was absolutely fantastic, she made the whole experience so enjoyable. This tour is a deffinate must do.

Overall an interesting experience told my an ex-political prisoner. However he did not manage the time well and we ended up missing the tour of the prison kitchen as we had to catch the last boat from the island

We booked Robben Island Tour with hotel collection. Faziela collected us from our hotel and gave us a mini city tour about the history of Cape Town on route to the waterfront, she was very informative and friendly! We stopped off at Bo-Kaap to take some pics too. She gave us some sweets and water before we boarded the boat - everything was very well organised from start to finish, she went above and beyond and made this trip very special - thank you :)
