Bij aankomst in Robbeneiland Museum wordt u begroet door een voormalige politieke gevangene en krijgt u een rondleiding. De excursie duurt ongeveer vier uur, inclusief ophalen bij uw hotel. (Onze chauffeur/gids begeleidt u niet op de Robbeneiland museumtour. De tour begint met een busrit rond het eiland, gevolgd door een bezoek aan Nelson Mandela's gevangeniscel en de lange trek naar vrijheid. Na terugkomst is een bezoek aan Robbeneiland een must om meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis van Zuid-Afrika, en deze tour biedt een handige en effectieve manier om er te komen. Booked the pre-booked tickets for Robben Island and it made the whole experience stress-free. The process was straightforward and i got my confirmation quickly i didn’t have to queue long at the V&A Waterfront. The ferry ride was on time and comfortable, and once on the island the tour was really well run. Having a good hearted tour guide made it incredibly powerful and gave a perspective you can’t get from reading about it. The bus tour around the island was also informative.

Visiting robben island was moving. The ferry from the V&A waterfront takes you to the island where nelson mandela was imprisoned for 18 years. And I loved the service of our tour guide. Standing in Mandela's 2x2 meter cell made the history feel very real. Its a powerful reminder of South Africa's journey to democracy.

It was best of best learning about the history that took place seeing were Mandela was kept it really speaks to the inner sole of how they actually fight for the beauty of our country

I had the best service from this Tour Guide. The person was patience and was very good with explaining and showing me around. A very good experience was offered this side. It was a nice tour and the tour guard was doing his work nicely with joy, I had a great time of exploring the most famous prison in RSA that also has a political history which made Our first black president to survive 27 years living in it. We had no enough time therefore we had to visit a smaller potion of it. To my surprise it is so big that I thought. The person who was responsible for the tour is the one who made payments therefore I have no idea of how much we paid for the admission. The best prison that is situation on an island? No prisoner will dare to escape the prison.

Said was amazing and on time, very personable and friendly. He patiently walked me to the boat, took photos, made sure I was well and understood how the day of touring Robben Island would look like. He was patiently waiting at the pick up spot right after I got off. Highly recommended!

A very interesting tour of Robben Island. However we don’t expect to be in such a huge group of people, not quite the intimate experience we were expecting for the price
