Beschrijving
River Plate is het grootste stadion in Argentinië, met een oppervlakte van ruim 3.437 vierkante meter, en wordt wereldwijd erkend. Het River Museum, opgericht op 9 november 2009, herbergt de kostbaarste schatten uit de geschiedenis van de River Plate Athletic Club. Het museum is ook uitgerust met een 360-bioscoopzaal, waar een film wordt geprojecteerd die de gevoelens van miljoenen fans verwoordt. Door de tijdtunnel kunnen toeristen chronologisch leren over de belangrijkste figuren van River Plate, de teams die de club groot hebben gemaakt, de beste goals, memorabele overwinningen en de meest waardevolle trofeeën, allemaal gerelateerd aan de nationale en internationale geschiedenis van de club. Houd er rekening mee dat op de wedstrijddagen van het River First-team in het Monumental de toegang kan worden verplaatst naar de daaropvolgende dagen. Ook op recitaldagen kan de bezichtiging van het stadion worden beïnvloed of kan de toegang tot het stadion worden opgeschort.

I was really disappointed with this experience, when I got to the stadium they sit you in a seat to look at pitch for 10 minutes and then that is it, no background or history the club and then you get brought to the museum and are left to look around yourself, it also doesn’t accommodate for English speakers, very short tour and was not very impressed. The Boca Juniors tour is a much better experience and worth going to instead of River Plate.

I give 4 star for the tour as the tour was only on Spanish, but may be I was the only foreign speaker in the group.

Very good experience when visiting River Plate club. When I arrived I was surprised that the tickets I had paid for TripAdvisor were three times more expensive than they were on site, it doesn't seem fair to me, if you want to be a serious company, this is not the way....

The view was spectacular, which was a bad thing: we had to wait 1 hour and 30 to enter the stadium. I entered the museum at 10am and waited until 11.30am

They didn’t recognise the viator ticket. Gave me an express tour! All of 15 minutes sitting on the first tear up. That was it! Waste of money.

Very good! Super modern museum and perfect stadium visit. At the end, you still have the option to purchase a photo to remember your visit. River has an excellent structure. The surroundings are also great to walk around and discover!

I wanted to go to the stadium, enter the grandstands and playing field, I didn’t want to go to the museum because I thought it was something boring, of poor quality, with a few drinks and some memories... nothing further from reality! Very good experience and excellently achieved! Worth it!!!
