We very much enjoyed Rise NY. I would recommend better signage, as we were on our way out, disappointed that it wasn’t what we expected. However, a very nice employee asked us if we were on the ride and we said no because there was no signage or, if there is one, it’s not prominently displayed. Thankfully we ran into him and, because of that, I am leaving a good review.
It was breathtaking, an experience I would suggest to anyone. Great family fun and historic education for the person with a New York State of mind!
The museum was interesting, informative and held special meaning to me, as a native New Yorker. I appreciated the inclusive history that was presented in fun and interactive ways. The ride at the end was a great way to end the experience.
I would like to say that it is very expensive This place is more for people who like history and like to pay attention to detail when it comes to New York history, but I wouldn’t say it is worth it. I don’t think it’s for kids. It’s like a quick walk about 15 minutes or less. The only thing good about it is the six minutes at the end, that’s literally the only good part about it. Everything was a walk by for people who don’t like history. It’s very very quick and I think it’s expensive for two people a little over 100$ KEY takeaways (expensive)( very short )and for people who like (history) but not worth it for the price
NYRise was fantastic! We had a wonderful experience. The museum was very unique. The simulation ride was amazing, taking us on a breathtaking sightseeing tour of New York City. It was a great experience. I’m from New York City. I’m glad we visited the museum.
This was my favorite event in NYC...even more than the top of the WTC. What fun with the interactive museum and the ride. Highly recommend!!!! The employees were bland...no excitement or real service, they were just there to get a paycheck. Don't let their dullness make you think this won't be an incredible experience. Little things like having no popcorn in the movie viewing area, and asking an employee if there was any popcorn, with a response of "if it is gone, there ain't no more". This was a 3:00 on a Friday....and while the crowd was pretty small, the wait was pretty long. We were told at the entrance the entire event would take 45 minutes. With the waits inside, it was 70 minutes. This made a difference as we had to head to the airport. Totally recommend!!!!
This simulator ride was great. You felt that you were right there as the ride took you all over NYC. I wished it were longer as we enjoyed it so much. Even though we took the full Big Bus tour, this still gave us a fun unique perspective.
This ride is literally a five minute ride. There is so much more of New York that they missed a great opportunity to show more of our beautiful city.
Staff should tell customers no cell phones. I could not fully enjoy the experience because a guy was on his phone the entire time being rude speaking loud in German.
Definitely tells several stories that at my age I can relate to and found interesting. I’m a history enthusiast too. The ride at the end is phenomenal!!
