Snellere toegang tot Christus de Verlosser. Begin aan deze op maat gemaakte tour en bezoek de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden en hoogtepunten van Rio de Janeiro. Het is een 8-uur durende stadstour met een privégids in een privévoertuig om je naar de Christus de Verlosser en de Suikerbroodberg te brengen. Voor de Christus de Verlosser bieden we skip-the-line toegang. We nemen de beroemde "Trenzinho do Corcovado", Portugees voor "Corcovado-trein", om de Christus de Verlosser te zien. Voor de Sugar Loaf nemen we de kabelbaan naar de top van de berg. Vervolgens bepaal je de andere plaatsen die je in de resterende uren wilt bezoeken. Hoe dan ook, de tickets voor de twee belangrijkste attracties van onze stad zijn al bij deze tour voor je inbegrepen. Privégids, kaartjes voor de Christus de Verlosser per trein (snellere lijn) en het Suikerbrood en vervoer heen en terug zijn inbegrepen.

We bieden toegang zonder wachtrij. We nemen de beroemde "Trenzinho do Corcovado", wat Portugees is voor "Corcovado-trein", naar de top van de Corcovado-heuvel om die beroemde attractie te bereiken en een prachtig uitzicht over onze stad te hebben. Met de armen wijd open naar de Guanabara-baai is het Christusbeeld een kunstwerk dat met niets anders te vergelijken is.
We nemen de kabelbaan naar de top van de berg. De rit verloopt in 2 etappes: begin bij het opstapstation naar Urca Mountain en dan van Urca Mountain naar de top van Sugarloaf Mountain.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophalen is mogelijk bij de meeste hotels in de gebieden Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Flamengo en Downtown (Centro). Voor Barra da Tijuca / Recreio bieden we ophaalservice voor een extra 10 USD per persoon die op de dag van de tour rechtstreeks aan de gids moet worden betaald.

The service is not good. On the platform, we booked for a specific time because we had another activity, but when we contacted them, they told us it wasn’t possible at that time and that we had to wait for more people to book the tour. In the end, to be able to do the activity, we had to buy an additional ticket to complete the group and receive the service. They didn’t give us headphones, they didn’t explain the tour, and overall it’s not recommended.
The tour was excellent, exactly as advertised. Our guide Dario was professional, knowledge and on the ball. Plus a lovely man to spend the day with.
Small and personal and at a good pace. Everyone was friendly. Take sunscreen. It’s very hot!!!!!!!!!
Throughly enjoyed “Rio in a Day” tour. Got to check off my bucket list items all at once. I had a fabulous guide, who was very knowledgeable and fun. I’m glad I was in her hands all day. Take this tour, it’s fabulous.
Yes, I gave five stars but can not recommend it at all. The service was excellent, the guide good and the driver very safe but... I recommend you do Christ the Redeemer one morning, sugarloaf mountain another morning, and please, just do the other sites on your own. The full day tour leaves you trampled with masses at one of the two main sites and the other venues is just fodder to fill the day. Lunch? No, just no. It is a disastrous affair of glutinous tourists in a loud restaurant. We ended up rather paying for our own lunch but eating at a local restaurant. The train is not a pleasant experience either. I truly recommend a morning tour by van. The train too, is an affair of rushing to wait in line, being shoved by staff and guests alike and feeling like cattle to the slaughtered. No, just no!!
Our private guide, Dario, was absolutely fabulous. His knowledge of Rio de Janeiro history, architecture, natural beauty and culture are exceptional. He quickly understood our interests (3 women from Australia) and showed us those places including what was already scheduled. Nothing was rushed. Dario was extremely helpful and a pleasure to be with. Highly recommend.

We were extremely punctual and our guide Luis was able to set off with us 10 minutes earlier, which turned out to be very advantageous, as we arrived everywhere just before the big tour buses. We got a comprehensive overview of Rio de Janeiro that day. Luis knew a lot about the history without just listing dates, but he also talked a lot about the interpersonal relationships between Brazilians in the north and south. The friendly driver with a clean car was always there on time to pick us up again. Luís spoke very good German (he lived in Germany for several years) and was very flexible, so we spent our lunch break not in a normal buffet restaurant but in a small, typical beach restaurant on the Copacabana. Conclusion: Great day, highly recommended!
