Rio Celeste Waterfall Hiking - Llanos Del Cortes waterval & luiaard observatorium
Beschrijving
Wandeling naar de Celeste-rivier is de aanblik van een ongewoon natuurverschijnsel waarbij de rivier en zijn rotsen plotseling lichtblauw worden door mineralen die van de grond in de rivier zijn gespoeld. Deze mineralen zijn het resultaat van de ligging van de rivieren aan de zijkanten van de slapende Tenorio-vulkaan en de resterende openingen uit de diepten van de vulkaan. We zullen dan de rivier stroomafwaarts volgen voor een verfrissende ontmoeting met een enorme waterval die langs de zijkanten van de vulkaan stroomt. Avontuur buiten het traditionele pad naar de spectaculaire ¨Llanos de Cortez-waterval¨. Deze afgelegen waterval is 9 meter hoog en 12 meter breed en stroomt over in een witte zandvijver. Geniet van zwemmen, wandelen of gewoon relaxen.

Vanwege een nieuwe eis van het Ministerie van Toerisme en de National Park Systems van Costa Rica, hebben we elke persoon nodig om ons de volgende informatie te sturen : Volledige naam op paspoort, paspoortnummer, land van afgifte van paspoort. U dient een foto van uw paspoort bij u te hebben tijdens uw tour! Deze ervaring vereist een minimum aantal reizigers. Als het wordt geannuleerd omdat het minimum niet wordt gehaald, krijg je een andere datumervaring of een volledige terugbetaling aangeboden

We couldn’t have had a better time on our adventure with Guanacaste Adventure & Travel. Wilmar thoroughly entertained us on the drive between sites with engaging stories about various landmarks and daily life in Costa Rica. On our hike to the beautiful Rio Celeste waterfall, he was exceptionally knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. He then brought us to a wonderful wildlife preserve, where the local site guide helped us spot red-eyed tree frogs, poison dart frogs, an eyelash viper, a tapir, two sloths, and a toucan. Afterward, Wilmar treated us to a delicious, traditional lunch of pollo casado at a charming local restaurant, before finishing the perfect day with a swim at the stunning Llanos de Cortes cascade. Wilmar is an excellent driver and an expert naturalist who coordinates a flawless itinerary. We highly recommend Guanacaste Adventure & Travel!

Wow, what a great day. Wilmar is a great tour guide and I would recommend him to anyone that travels to the area. Our first stop was the sloth observatory, where we saw a lot of different flora and fauna and lots of wildlife. We were also very lucky to see a baby sloth up close. Second we went to tenorio national park. Wilmar guided us round the national park showing us different snakes, insects, tarantula holes and amazing things in the national park. We went down to rio celeste waterfall which was beautiful, although it was raining it still had a good blue coloured tint to the water. Finally our last stop was a waterfall swim back to the hotel. The water was cold, so we didn't swim but it was very picturesque. Thank you Wilmar for a great day and I hope more people get to experience your hospitality on the tours you provide.

Excellent tour for all ages. Wilmar was a fantastic guide who made quick adjustments to the pick-up location / time because we had an emergency. He was an excellent guide, and pointed out wildlife on our hike to the waterfall. The waterfall was magnificant. The staff at the sloth sanctuary were great with our grandchildren (8 and 9) and showed them lots of wildlife. We would enthusiastically recommend the tour ……and Wilmar!!

Wonderful excursion! My daughter and I loved it! Wilmar is an excellent guide. He is very knowledgeable and we felt safe with him all day. The waterfalls and trails are beautiful. We loved seeing the wildlife and rainforest. Would definitely recommend!
