Beleef het carnaval van Rio vanaf een toplocatie in het Sambadrome, onder begeleiding van een expert die zich inzet om uw veiligheid en plezier de hele nacht te garanderen. Geniet van exclusieve toegang tot een van de beste camarotes: verhoogde privéboxen met een bevoorrecht uitzicht op slechts enkele meters van de parade. In deze ruimte heeft u toegang tot een scala aan voorzieningen, waaronder een foodcourt, zelfbedieningsbieren, premium sterke drank, een schoonheidscentrum en een ontspanningsruimte en liveshows. Wij regelen alle logistiek, van het ophalen bij het hotel tot het vervoer naar de locatie, zodat u zich volledig kunt onderdompelen in de festiviteiten. De ophaaltijden zijn over het algemeen tussen 19:00 en 20:00 uur, met exacte tijden die de dag voor de parade worden bevestigd. De parades beginnen om 21:30 uur en duren ongeveer 5 tot 6 uur, waarbij het ophalen bij het hotel rond 19:00 uur is gepland. Voor uw gemak zijn er twee opties om terug te keren: een vroege ophaalservice om 01:30 uur na de tweede parade of een laatste ophaalservice rond 05:00 uur wanneer het evenement is afgelopen.

We halen elke toerist op waar ze ook maar aangeven bij de boeking, zolang het maar binnen de stadsgrenzen is. Toeristen die dicht bij elkaar zijn in het hoofdgebied van Rio, worden één voor één opgehaald door onze gids. Toeristen die logistiek gezien buiten onze sequentiële ophaalplanning vallen, moeten een exclusieve chauffeur en voertuig laten sturen voor de ophaalservice op hun plaats en rijden om de rest van de groep te ontmoeten. Nadat je bent opgehaald bij je hotel, reis je naar de Sambadrome, een speciaal ontworpen structuur, en bekijk je de carnavalvieringen de hele avond. Tickets geven toegang tot een hut met een open bar en open eten met een rijk buffet met het beste van de gastronomie, waaronder warme en koude gerechten, opties van typisch Braziliaanse gerechten, voorbeelden van internationale gerechten, zeevruchten en een buffet met rijkelijk bereide desserts. Volledig open bar met onder andere water, frisdrank, sap, bier, whisky, wodka, caipirinha en energiedrankjes.
De ruimte biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de parades, aangepaste T-shirts, een Beauty Center, en persoonlijke diensten voor wie op zoek is om glamoureus te blijven tijdens de festiviteiten. De parades duren 6 uur gedurende de hele nacht, maar er is een optie voor een vroeg vertrek om 01:00 uur na de tweede parade. Voor degenen die tot het einde willen blijven, is een tweede pick-up gepland rond 04:00 uur, zodat u ’s ochtends vroeg bij uw accommodatie wordt afgezet. **INFORMATIE OVER OPHALEN:** Ophaal- en afleverlocaties worden beschouwd als binnen de stad Rio de Janeiro en de omliggende gebieden. --- **Toeristen ophalen – Startpunt:** We regelen het ophalen van elke toerist op de door hen opgegeven locatie binnen de stadsgrenzen op het moment van boeken. Voor toeristen die dicht bij elkaar in het centrum van Rio verblijven, haalt onze gids ze sequentieel op. Als de locatie van een toerist buiten onze geplande ophaalroute ligt, sturen we een speciale chauffeur en voertuig om ze naar de groep te brengen. De ophaaltijden zijn ongeveer tussen 19:00 en 20:00 uur. We nemen de dag voor de parade contact op met elke toerist om de exacte ophaaltijd te bevestigen. We paid more than $2000 per person to watch this Rio Carnival parade from Carioca prime box lounge in sector 7, on 21 February 2026. We specially opted for vegetarian food while booking through Viator. We requested that since we are 70+ year old people so we can not stand the whole night to watch the parade. We were told that there will be around 800 people in the lounge, but people keep moving so no problem of finding sitting place. When we reached the Carioca lounge in sector 7, we were offered very nice buffet to eat. We picked the plate and then looked for a vegetarian food. Not a single dish was vegetarian available. Finally one of the person serving there told us that the only food vegetarian was a cherry tomatos with cheese. We were shocked that even after paying $ 2000 with a promise of great food all night there was not a single vegetarian dish for us. After eating our cherry tomatos and cheese we went to balcony where we thought from where we could watch the parade. Forget about sitting place, even there was not a standing place to watch the parade. it seems that instead of 800 people there must be more than 3000 people to watch the parade. It was not only us but hundreds of people were frustrated and could not watch the parade for which they had so paid so much money. I am taking Viator tours for the past many years and most of the time they are reasonable. I never imagined that this time it will go so low. It seems Viator had engaged one local subcontractor Gregtur at Rio and it had mismanaged the tour. Perhaps it was not a fault of Gregtur also. Perhaps the Carioca prime box management became very greedy and cramped thousands of people meant for few hundreds. I will never recommend this Viator Carnival Parade option to anyone. It is better to buy directly from riocarnival booker website directly where you get much cheaper options with much better view of the parade.

We made sure to explain in advance what type of experience was being purchased. Between 90 and 60 days before the event, we sent messages, photos, and videos showing how the Lounge works. The Lounge is a large shared area inside the Sambódromo. It is not private with assigned seats. The lounge hosts around 800 guests. The seats can not reserved, and seating works on a first-come, first-served basis and not all the guests have seats as most of guests stand up, cheers and dances. It's normal in the type of space. As explained way before the event, our plan is always to arrive early to increase the chances of finding seats for those who want it, especially for guests who prefer to sit during the night. Our guides stayed inside the lounge the entire time to assist and support all guests. We are sorry if the vegetarian options did not meet your expectations. We informed the lounge management now about the vegetarian request, and it will be certainly improved by the next year. The lounge operates under official limits set by the local authorities and is not allowed to exceed them. The Champions Parade is one of the busiest nights of Carnival, and the environment is naturally busy and festive. Thanks for recogniting that Gregtur did not mismanage the tour. Transportation, timing, coordination, and assistance were all delivered as planned. Carnival at the Sambódromo is a unique and high-energy event that many guests truly enjoy. At the same time, we understand it may not feel comfortable for everyone. That is precisely why we reached out to all guests well in advance, explaining in detail how the lounge works and what to expect, so each person could make an informed decision before proceeding with the booking. From start to finish, this Rio Carnival experience was perfectly organised, smooth, and completely stress-free — and that is all thanks to our incredible guide, Camila. Everything ran seamlessly with no waiting times, no crowds, and absolute ease throughout the night. We were picked up in a very comfortable car and brought to a beautiful hotel wait area where there was so much to enjoy while registration was handled — shirt customisation, makeup, spa treatments, drinks, and a lively atmosphere that made the time fly by. Entering the Sambadrome was effortless with zero queues, which made the whole experience feel exclusive and relaxed. Throughout the evening, Camila was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring toward every guest. This was a great experience and Camila did a very nice job, but there were a number of things that were unclear. 1) everyone is taken to the Novatel hotel. This is where you get your shirts and they do alterations and make up and where the spa is. There are no lockers here or at the box, you wear your shirt over what you are wearing or carry it. 2) Despite what we were told, people entered the box with small backpacks, tote bags etc. You will board a bus to the sambadome. 3) It is impossible to see the parade from seats unless you are the first people arriving and grab one of the handful of spots along the upstairs railing. You will still need to stand for the actual parade because people will crowd in. For the vast majority you will stand outside packed into the stands with 500 other people who have tickets for the "box", but should get a reasonable view. The front of the stands are at the parade ground level. 4)There is a buffet all night and with some luck you can grab a bar stool. 5)The staff do a great job keeping the bathrooms relatively clean and the area picked up. 6) We were provided transporation back to our hotel after the end of each of the 4 team preformces, but it was crowded and the directions were not clear and we ended up back at the Novatel. In the end they provided transport from there to our hotel 6)The second team of 4 teams ended at 1AM and we couldn't stand any longer. They were running behind the printed schedule. You can go inside at the break after each team and try to snag a seat and something to drink. The floats were truly spectacular.
Romayne met us at the hotel and had great energy. After all the people were picked up we were given an introduction of what to expect. the lounge at Novotel was chaos but safe and with options to relax and try new drinks and customize the branded shirt. That’s something none of us had done before. The experience at the Sambradome was loud, positive energy and genuine love for country animals and people! what a great night! Romayne collected us at the end to be sure we were connected to the driver home! This was the highlight of our trip!

My pre-tour expectations were fairly low, it I was BLOWN away! One of our favorite tours anywhere. The best part of the tour was Tiago. He went over and beyond. Tiago is the type of guide everyone expects, but never experience. My wife told him that we would come back to Rio just to have him give us another tour.
Carnival parade is definitely worth seeing. Starts very late and continues until morning. But Bookers and especially their angel service on the bus to and from the parade is very misleading. They state that you will be provided a return trip at any time in the early morning. That was not true, we wanted to leave around 3:30 in the morning before the last float group started and we had to wait over one hour (standing away from being able to see the parade at the entrance )for other people in order to fill the bus, we would have been better off sitting inside and watching the end of the parade. Bookers angel bus service at 50 US dollars per person.

The experience was amazing! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. It was an event of my life. Lots of beatiful people and very taste food. Camila was incredible!

Camila Feher, who is the guide who accompanied us at all times is a very friendly, concerned, charismatic person, every time you asked something always has an answer with an incredible smile. If I lived the experience again I would definitely contact her again.
