Bezoek de kleine steden langs de noordwestelijke oever van Lake Tahoe en geniet van een uniek uitzicht vanaf Stateline Fire Lookout en Mount Rose Overlook tijdens deze schilderachtige rondrit. Deze tour begint buiten het Gatekeepers Museum en gaat verder naar het noorden naar Carnelian Bay, Tahoe Vista, Kings Beach en Crystal Bay. Onze rit van 20 mijl eindigt bij de Mount Rose Scenic Overlook in Incline Village. Onderweg heb je de mogelijkheid om twee van de populaire stranden van Lake Tahoe te bezoeken, te wandelen naar een van Tahoe's vroegste vuuruitkijkposten of te genieten van een drankje of een maaltijd aan het meer. On December 28th my family and I enjoyed the experiencing the company, wisdom and insights of the lovely well-informed and genuinely engaging couple that took us on a local tour of Noe Valley. Although it was drizzling we learned so much and we are so glad we went. Highly recommend.
We completed all 3 of the self-guided tours around the lake. After figuring out how the VoiceMap app worked it was easier for this section. The information provided was really informative and helped us complete a successful tour around the lake.
Seeing out of the way places and park was great. We found and enjoyed restaurants, state parks and vistas.

We enjoyed listening to the historic facts. The driving instructions were crear, but the map was hard to follow.
Obviously well researched and prepared! This is part of a series and definitely worth the purchase. The different locations were beautiful and memorable and I will absolutely do this loop again!
After taking the first tour in the series from South Shore to Tahoe City we decided to take the next leg as well. It was well worth it. Although we've traveled the road from Tahoe City to Incline Village many times we discovered several new places that we never new existed. We never would have even known about the Summertide House or the beautiful Stateline Fire Lookout Trail and the incredible views offered over Crystal Bay from the top. The stories interspersed throughout the drive were fascinating. Well thought out tour, worth the price, especially when you add in the free hiking maps included.
This was a prefect way for us newbies to get to know Lake Tahoe. It also worked out well as a fun activity on a day where the weather wasn't great. We enjoyed learning about the history, ghost stories, & having great Vista spots highlighted for us to stop at. We especially enjoyed the waterfall.
