Waar u ook bent in het Zulu-koninkrijk, u bent niet meer dan 2 uur verwijderd van de iconische Big 5 van Afrika. Vandaag bent u echter een stuk dichterbij. Het is een start van 07.00 uur. Zoals je weet zijn dieren in het wild, vooral roofdieren, het meest actief rond zonsopgang en zonsondergang. De Big 5 Bucketlist Safari geeft je de beste kans om de Big 5 te zien tijdens een dagtour binnen KwaZulu Natal. Betreed een Premier Private Game Reserve en ontmoet uw deskundige ranger. Luister naar een briefing over de etiquette van gamedrives voordat u aan uw ochtendsafari van 3 uur begint. Uw ranger volgt wilde dieren en houdt waarnemingen in het hele reservaat in de gaten, waardoor u de beste kans heeft om op het juiste moment op de juiste plaats te zijn. Driver picked us up right at cruise ship, drove us to Manyoni in an air conditioned car, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area, naturalist guide was waiting for us in a luxury safari vehicle, she was very informative about the flora and fauna, we saw many animals in a beautiful setting, she tried hard to get us a lion sighting, but they sleep during the day and are only active early morning or late evening, overall a great time!
Overall this was an excellent first time safari trip. The driver (Thabo) to and from the vessel Norwegian Dawn was superb, his knowledge of South Africa as well as his wit and good humour was fun! The safari itself was well run and driver/guide (wonder boy) was very good. He educated us on the animals and we saw 4/5, lions were hiding in the bush due to warm day. Wonder boy looked tirelessly to find them. You have to patient and the ride can be a little bumpy, after all it is the safari! Hope to see lions next time Well done all

I have never visited Manyoni before - what an amazing place! We saw so much, thanks to our brilliant guide Dylon. The camp staff were amazing, the whole experience was great. Would recommend to anyone from couple to groups. And of course Rambo HAS to be experienced - a fantastic beast!
Everything was beyond incredible. Firstly, the booking process went very smoothly. Justin, the founder, accommodated our changing schedule and gave us clear explanations. The drive with Grant was perfect, very knowledgeable and interesting, we felt comfortable right away. We drove to the game reserve where we met Ivor. We jumped in his jeep safari vehicle with giraffs and zebras watching us already. The amazing thing is we could off road and go really close to the animals!! We had complete answers to every questions we had, and fun facts on every animal, plant, bird, insect we would spot. Everything is tailored to what you want to do and see. This is an absolute gem of an experience and you should not miss out! This is the least expensive Safari we did this far and by far the best one. We were just us two, the guides, surrounded by all the animals we could wish to see; hippos, lion, rhino, buffalos, giraffe, zebra, nyala, hyena!!
What a great day in the Manyoni Game Reserve! It started with a well-organized transfer from the port in Richards Bay to the park. There we got into an open Toyota 4x4. We had expected to drive on roads, but it turned out much better. Our driver Mzamo not only drove us across the area, but also read the animals' tracks. Thanks to his experience, we found a family of eight lions and were able to observe them in peace - a dream come true! But also rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, etc., everything was there. And the best thing: we felt like we were the only people in the entire park. We didn't see a single other visitor - in all that time. So no mass tourism! An absolute recommendation! We were thrilled and would do it again anytime! Thank you Justin, thank you Wild Routes Africa team!
We saw almost all the animals we expected to see, including Rino with baby and lions. The guide gave information, not extraordinary, but sufficient. Consider this excursion the best experience of our journey to South Africa
We performed 4 car trips accompanied by guides. We were able to see practically all the fauna present up close, except the elusive leopard. A complete immersion in the bush, without filters! A special note for our guides Anton and Storm, simply exceptional!
