Leg de essentie van Rhodos vast in één dag! Dit totale avontuur omvat de meest populaire bezienswaardigheden van het eiland. Onze tour begint vanuit de haven van Mandraki met een stop bij het gebied waar ooit de Kolossus van Rhodos stond en vervolgens de Akropolis van Rhodos. We laten de stad Rhodos achter en gaan richting het traditionele dorp Lindos. Er is hier een verblijf van 1 uur waarmee u de prachtige Akropolis op de top kunt bereiken. We hebben ook een bezoek aan een traditionele Griekse taverne voor een fantastische lunch in ons tourprogramma opgenomen. Laat ons u door de schoonheid van dit prachtige eiland leiden en uw waardevolle vakantietijd maximaliseren. We gebruiken luxe voertuigen en lokale goed geïnformeerde chauffeurs.

We beginnen onze tour met een rit rond de muren van de oude binnenstad van Rhodos - de grootste bewoonde middeleeuwse stad van Europa. Het werd in 1300 gebouwd door de ridders van de orde van St. John. De middeleeuwse stad Rhodos staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Als je wilt, kunnen we de duur van de tour met 1 uur verlengen en je kunt ook wat vrije tijd hebben om door de oude stad te gaan en deze op eigen gelegenheid te verkennen.
Mandraki-haven - we stoppen bij de plek waar de oude en legendarische Kolossus van Rhodos ooit stond. Het stond bekend als een van de zeven wonderen van de Oude Wereld.
Eerst zullen we stoppen voor een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht op de stad Rhodos en dan zal je een wandeling maken door de tempel van Pythian Apollo, Ancient Stadium en Amphitheatre.
We gaan ook naar de kerk van de Annunciatie, de grootste orthodoxe kerk in de stad met zeer mooie handgemaakte schilderijen aan de muren.
Op verzoek kunnen we een bezoek brengen aan een pottenbakkersfabriek om te zien hoe keramiek wordt gemaakt - een techniek die van oudsher tot nu toe is gebruikt. Als u geïnteresseerd bent in het kopen van sieraden als souvenir bij uw bezoek aan Rhodos, kunnen we ook een bezoek brengen aan een goudfabriek om uw unieke stuk te vinden.
Voordat we het dorp Lindos verlaten, stoppen we voor foto's op een van de mooiste stranden van het eiland met een prachtig uitzicht
Bij aankomst in Lindos, zullen we een paar minuten op de top van de heuvel doorbrengen om te genieten van de spectaculaire uitzichten en memorabele panoramische foto's nemen voordat we naar het dorpsplein gaan.
Uw chauffeur laat u net buiten de ingang van het dorp Lindos. U heeft minimaal 1 uur verblijf voor een wandeling door de smalle straatjes van dit traditionele dorp. Als je door de kleine, kronkelende straatjes omhoog loopt kom je uiteindelijk bij de Akropolis op de top. Een dramatisch uitzicht zal uw grote beloning zijn in combinatie met veel geschiedenis en geweldige fotomogelijkheden (entree 20 euro / per persoon). De Akropolis in Lindos is de op één na populairste Akropolis van Griekenland na het Parthenon in Athene. Uw chauffeur wacht op u op de exacte plaats waar hij u achterliet.
We stoppen bij een uitstekende traditionele taverne met een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht. Ontspan en geniet van een fantastische lunch en uitstekende lokale wijnen (de prijs van de lunch is niet inbegrepen)

We bieden gratis pick-ups voor alle hotels in de omgeving van Ialyssos, Ixia, Rhodos-stad, Kolymbia, Faliraki en Kallithea, de luchthaven of de cruise-/toeristenhaven van Rhodos. An amazing experience Nikos made us feel so relaxed and was full of knowledge and great anecdotes form his grandfather. We got to see so much of Rhodes and he was always happy to answer any questions we had . Taverna we stopped in was amazing alongside the olive oil and local wine tasting and pottery. We never felt pressured to buy from any of these but enjoyed learning about the history and traditions of this lovely island. Would highly recommend the tour company as nothing to much for them.

We had a wonderful time with our guide Nikos in Rhodes! We had no idea what a lovely island with such great people it was. We have had many great days, but this was probably the best! Nikos was so warm and friendly and tailored our tour to our group! We had one person with walking difficulties and he totally worked with us to make it a wonderful day. Besides the normal ancient sites (which were amazing with Nikos’ insights) we were able to go to a little out of town pottery shop and watch the owner make a beautiful vase! The shop was full of beautiful works of art all made on site! We finished with a fantastic Greek meal - best food ever! Would highly recommend!! A day to remember! ❤️

Such a tour is bound to be a great experience because of the island's beauties. Bur I cannot describe how excellent an experience we had with our guide-driver.
