Bewonder de Rijnwatervallen, de grootste waterval van Europa, tijdens deze halve dagtour vanuit Zürich. Reis naar Noord-Zwitserland, een prachtig wijnbouwgebied met charmante boerendorpjes en schilderachtige landschap in de buurt van de Duitse grens. Bewonder het middeleeuwse kasteel Laufen voordat u de majestueuze Rijnwatervallen bereikt. Geniet van ongeveer 1 3⁄4 uur om de krachtige watervallen te bewonderen en foto's te maken, en maak in de zomer een spannende boottocht om ze van dichtbij te bekijken (optioneel, alleen in de zomer, afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid). De duur van deze excursie maakt deze schilderachtige tour gemakkelijk in een strak schema te persen.

Na het ophalen van het centrum van Zürich (busstation Sihlquai) rijdt u door het schilderachtige landschap met zacht glooiende wijngaarden en charmante boerendorpjes naar het prachtige middeleeuwse kasteel Laufen!
Geniet van ongeveer 1 3⁄4 uur vrije tijd bij de machtige Rijnwatervallen, een van de belangrijkste attracties van Zwitserland. Geniet van een uniek uitzicht op de grootste watervallen van Europa vanuit de panoramische lift en zie hoe gemiddeld 700'000 liter water per seconde over een breedte van 150 meter in het bassin eronder valt. Een mooie, korte wandeling over het Belvedere panoramapad brengt u naar het uitkijkplatform recht boven de watervallen waar u de spindrift van het kabbelende water voelt. Maak een optionele boottocht (alleen in de zomer) dicht bij de watervallen. Bezoek het Historama in het patriarchale kasteel om meer te weten te komen over de interessante geschiedenis van deze unieke plek.
De terugreis komt langs het pittoreske stadje Schaffhausen met zijn bekende vesting Munot uit de 16e eeuw. De weg vervolgt dan een kort stukje door Duitsland voordat u weer in het centrum van Zürich aankomt.

Rhine Falls was beautiful but we didn’t have much time taking pictures. Our guide was kind of fast and in a hurry, and the walk was not too easy for a person with knee problem
Elizabeth was a fabulous guide very informative and multi linguistic, making sure everyone was informed on all aspects of our tour.
A very pleasant tour on a hot August morning. Guide was excellent. Surprised that water wasn’t included, but they sell it to you.
The amount of steps!!! We had to stop a couple of times to catch our breath as we are 70 and 75 years old
We had a great experience last Saturday with our guide, Adolfo. He was entertaining and shared lots of interesting facts about Switzerland throughout the tour. The Rhine Falls were spectacular, and we also really enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way.
We took the tour to the Rhine Falls (Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe) with Best of Switzerland Tours and it exceeded all our expectations. The tour first took us to Laufen Castle, from where you can go down to the Belvedere viewpoint and feel the force of the water almost at the foot of the waterfall, in addition to going up in the panoramic elevator for a different view. We were also able to take the boat, which was optional, and it brought us very close to the falls and allowed us to see all their power up close; it was undoubtedly very worth it. The tour is offered in English and Spanish, and our guide, Adolfo, was a total success: he shared very interesting information about the place and its history, was always willing to answer questions, and managed to keep the group entertained at all times, with a pleasant, fun, and very dynamic style!! For his part, the driver, Hugo, gave us a lot of confidence behind the wheel, respected the scheduled times, and, as a plus, took us through several additional towns to those announced in the itinerary. Without a doubt, I would repeat with this company and this team!! Best wishes from Bilbao :)

This was a lovely tour. The Rhine Falls was a true delight to see. The tour guide was quite informative about some of the history and culture surrounding the local area . Overall a very pleasant trip.

Beautiful ride, great guide (Victor) and bus driver (Carlos). Falls are beautiful and the 15 minute boat trip to the base of the falls is definitely worth it.
