Beschrijving
Laat zachtaardige rendieren je meenemen door besneeuwde bossen en open velden, gewikkeld in warme dekens. Na de rustige sleetocht warm je je op in een gezellige boerderij met lokale snacks en warme dranken terwijl je verhalen hoort over de Sámi-cultuur, rendiertradities en het leven in het Noordpoolgebied van vandaag.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Pick-up service is beschikbaar bij de genoemde hotels. Als uw hotel of locatie niet tussen de opstapplaatsen staat, neem dan contact met ons (de leverancier) of het platform op om de beschikbaarheid te controleren. U ontvangt uw ophaalpunt & tijd via Viator bericht. Het niet deelnemen aan de safari vanwege gemiste opstapplaats of tijd wordt niet terugbetaald. Als u opgehaald moet worden bij hotels, ontmoet dan op tijd de Gids bij de receptie van uw hotel; als u opgehaald moet worden vanaf het verzamelpunt, vindt u de Gids op tijd bij ons kantoor beneden (Sunny Safari Office, Tähtikuja 1, 96930 Rovaniemi, in Santa Claus Village).

- Een minimum van 2 volbetalende volwassenen is vereist om de tour te laten werken. Eén enkele reiziger kan lid worden van een bestaande groep.
- Elke rendierenslee wordt gedeeld door 2 volwassenen (behalve in speciale omstandigheden). Per slee zijn maximaal 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen toegestaan. De definitieve zitplaatsindeling wordt bepaald door de musher ter plaatse.
- De duur van deze sleetocht is ongeveer 40 tot 50 minuten, dus we adviseren u vriendelijk om u passend te kleden voor Arctische temperaturen.
- Thermische overalls en laarzen zijn aanwezig. De totale duur is inclusief transfertijd en kledingwisseltijd.
- Pick-up service is inbegrepen bij geselecteerde locaties. Staat uw accommodatie er niet bij, neem dan contact met ons op om de beschikbaarheid te controleren.
- U ontvangt de definitieve verzameltijd en ontmoetingspunt na bevestiging. Het niet deelnemen aan de safari vanwege het missen van de verzameltijd of ontmoetingspunt komt niet in aanmerking voor restitutie.

The tour cona sled lasts 1 hour, it was very pleasant, it is in the middle of the woods
It’s a very nice opportunity to see reindeers from a very close proximity and get the chance to feed them 🥰. Then there is a sleigh with the reindeers which isn’t too long and it’s an easy path - the reindeers are treated with lots of care from the staff. Staff also made sure the guests were mindful of reindeers’ movements and behaviour to keep both parties safe and fit! Our tour guide - Shan was such a friendly and helpful person, taking pictures of us with the ride and also taking care of dropping us safe in our drop off locations. Part of the tour was a visit in a very cozy shelter with an amazing fireplace in the middle - we were given cinnamon buns, warm juices and lots of useful information on the reindeers and their lifecycle. One of the most interesting I found is the life expectancy of the reindeers and how age doesn’t really matter, but it’s based on their personality! During winter time the reindeers are kept in farms and during summer time, they are free to move around anywhere and do whatever they like! Oh, forgot to mention the reindeer driving license to get on your way out which is valid for 5 years .. which means we have to visit again in 5 years to renew it! How cool 😍😻 - Although we think we will visit sooner than that 😍
It was a very nice trip. We learned something new about rendeere. The sledge ride was not so impressive but we booked the short tour just one day before - maybe the longer tour would offer some better experience? Our guide Marta was very friendly and save driver.
I loved my trip with Mari, she is a wonderful entertaning tour guide! The farm was a nice location we could feed the animals, if yoi wanna pet ask for Manu deer!
We visited the reindeer farm today with our family (2 adults, 2 kids), and it was an amazing experience! Paula, our driver and guide, was absolutely wonderful – attentive, caring, and professional throughout the visit. She made sure that even during a simple but heartwarming activity like feeding and petting the animals, our family could truly enjoy the moments together. A huge thank you to Paula and the whole organizing team for making this such a memorable and well-coordinated experience. Highly recommended!
The tour was really fantastic. We took part in the nice reindeer safari trip. We have got so many intresting information about the reindeers. We could sledge one round with nice reindeers. everything was well organized. Pick-up at our house (in the center of Rovaniemi) at the correct time. Nice people who welcomed us. Beautiful nature-experience. And afterwards a lot of explanation about the reindeers. This was both a great experience and very informative too. Our son, who is physically disabled joined the trip. This was not a problem at all.
