Reis per kabelbaan in Mexico-Stad-Iztapalapa

Ik begrijp dat buitenlanders bang zijn om de arme buurt van Mexico-Stad te bezoeken. Het is waar dat er zeer gevaarlijke gebieden zijn en ze zijn niet mooi om te zien. Ik zou willen dat buitenlanders hun geest openen en zich buiten gebieden als Polanco, Roma of Reforma wagen. We nemen het vervoer dat normale Mexicanen dagelijks gebruiken. Bij aankomst bij het eerste kabelbaanstation beginnen we het getto en de omgeving te zien. We kunnen rondlopen maar alleen op specifieke plaatsen op de reis. Op geen enkel moment zullen we in rode gebieden ten onder gaan. Vanaf dat punt zal ik je informatie geven over de verschillende sociale klassen in Mexico en waarom dit land nog steeds een plaats van armoede is. Evenzo zullen we het hebben over de Mexicaanse cultuur en haar waardevolle mensen. Specifiek over de mensen die in dat gebied wonen. Je hebt niet altijd de mogelijkheid om naar een plaats als Latijns-Amerika te reizen. Dus je moet het meeste uit de reis halen. De rondleiding is Engels en/of Spaans. Bij mij ben je veilig :)

De meeste toeristen bezoeken altijd dezelfde plaatsen. Ze kennen het echte Mexico niet. Bij mij kun je leren over het leven van Mexicanen zonder dat je in gevaar komt. Ik ontmoet je bij het metrostation Bellas Artes en vanaf dat punt begint onze reis met het openbaar vervoer naar het begin van de Cablebús (kabelbaan). Ik zal altijd bij je zijn, dus er zal geen gevaar zijn. Samen reizen we door de lucht van het gemarginaliseerde gebied van Mexico-Stad. We zullen nooit de gevaarlijke straten betreden, dus de reis is erg veilig en perfect om de andere realiteit te leren kennen waar bijna niemand over praat. We keren terug naar hetzelfde startpunt. Ideaal om te genieten van het Museum voor Schone Kunsten. Op deze reis wordt de voertaal Engels en/of Spaans gesproken.

It was a fascinating experience that I would not do alone. Jose Luis was a very good guide who addressed all our questions and needs. 👍🏼
Jose was a great host provided detailed insight of the area! We took the metro to the cable cars, which offered amazing views of the area below and gave us a chance to see the real Mexico. We also took a stroll around the neighborhood and were lucky enough to catch the flea market while it was on. A fantastic experience and highly recommended!

Jose Luis was a very friendly, conversational and an interesting tour guide! We learned a lot and got to see a remote part of Mexico City that most visitors don't see - from the comfort of the cable cars, which are surprisingly modern, smooth, and safe!

Our Tour Guide Jose Luis was the Best Tour Guide so far because he delivered the Best Insights of Mexico City History. He made sure we understood everything around the area that was happening during our Tour Guide. He went Above and Beyond our Expectations during our Cable Car Tour to explain everything about Mexico City Culture and History. This was an absolutely unique experience and one of the most enjoyable things that we did in Mexico City. The cable cars are incredibly efficient and give amazing views of the city. Luis also took us to a large public market where we were able to sample the food and buy some keepsakes. Luis is a superb guide with excellent English skills

We just got on subway at the Fine Arts museum at the historic city centre (at 10 am, past the morning rush hour) for about 50 cents per person, went all the way to the end station and took the cablecar from there - to the end and back. It's part of theur public transit and cist another 25 cents or so. The views are incredible, the locals were curious and asked us where we were from. The staff at the station let women with children yo join our car, but not single men - it's super safe.
It was definitely great to be able to see the real mexico city with a great tour guide. felt safe the whole time and he treated me to great snacks and tacos in the area!!
USA and Mexico are very similar in a certain way. Thank you for spending your time with me, I had a really great time with you :) Please visit me again, let's eat quesadillas again haha :)

We had a great time with Luis. It was a great way to see a different part of Mexico City and get a local’s perspective. The tour was informative and interesting and we enjoyed riding the cable cars and the views from above. We definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking for something different and off the beaten path.

On our last day in Mexico City, we took this tour and it was the best way to end our trip! Luis offers an amazing experience. You see a part of Mexico City far from the beautiful and quiet neighborhoods where tourists normally go. You actually catch a glimpse of the real Mexico City. The walk through Iztapalapa was a highlight for us. We ate a delicious blue taco at the market and were welcomed warmly everywhere. We were lucky that my boyfriend and I were the only ones on the tour, which allowed us to have good personal conversations with Luis. Highly recommended!
