Vlieg, wandel en verken het oerwoud van Costa Rica Beleef de ultieme combinatie van spanning en natuur tijdens een onvergetelijke tour! Begin uw reis met een zipline-avontuur op grote hoogte door de boomtoppen van het regenwoud. Voel de adrenaline door je lijf gieren terwijl je langs meerdere kabels glijdt en geniet van een adembenemend uitzicht op de jungle. Daarna kunt u het rustiger aan doen en u één voelen met de natuur tijdens een begeleide wandeling langs hangbruggen in het regenwoud, beter bekend als de Skywalk. Deze hangbruggen voeren u door het hart van de jungle en bieden fantastische mogelijkheden om wilde dieren en weelderige tropische flora te spotten.

Op slechts 20 minuten van Puerto Limón combineert Brisas de la Jungla adembenemende natuur met puur avontuur. Begin met een begeleide wandeling door het regenwoud over een pad van 1.064 meter (3.490 voet) omgeven door weelderige vegetatie, heliconia's, bananenplanten en torenhoge eeuwenoude bomen. Het hoogtepunt: drie hangbruggen die u oog in oog brengen met het bladerdak van het bos. Brug 1: 37 m (121 ft) lang, 12 m (39 ft) hoog Brug 2: 42 m (137 ft) lang, 19 m (62 ft) hoog Brug 3: 67 m (219 ft) lang, 22 m (72 ft) hoog Houd tijdens het oversteken uw ogen open voor luiaards, brulapen, tropische kikkers en kleurrijke vogels. Voel vervolgens de adrenaline stromen als je over 12 kabelbanen glijdt, omgeven door een weelderig bladerdak. Het parcours is voorzien van een dubbele veiligheidslijn en wordt bediend door getraind personeel, waardoor het een veilige en spannende activiteit is voor avonturiers en natuurliefhebbers (2 uur).
Ontdek een lokale souvenirwinkel met authentiek Costa Ricaans handwerk en geniet van een gratis proeverij van vers gezette koffie en gearomatiseerde cacao (zoals gekarameliseerd of kaneel). Indien mogelijk kunt u tijdens een korte wandeling van 15 minuten door de aangrenzende tuin tropische planten als ananas, cacao, kaneel, ylang-ylang en noni bewonderen. Hoogtepunt is een live demonstratie van hoe een verwerkingssysteem op een bananenplantage werkt; een boeiende blik op een van de belangrijkste exportproducten van Costa Rica.
Onze laatste stop is bij Playa Bonita, een ontspannen en schilderachtige plek waar u kunt ontspannen aan de oceaan. Of u nu zin heeft in een tropische smoothie, een koud biertje of een Caribische cocktail, dit is uw moment om te ontspannen en te genieten van het uitzicht. Heb je honger? Probeer vooral de beroemde rijst met bonen gekookt in kokosmelk, of patacones (de knapperige groene bakbanaanchips die in heel Costa Rica geliefd zijn). Het is de perfecte afsluiting van een dag vol cultuur, smaak en ontdekkingen.
Terwijl we door het hart van Puerto Limón rijden, vertelt uw gids u boeiende verhalen over de geschiedenis, cultuur en Afro-Caribische wortels van de stad. Je tour begint op de pier, waar onze gidsen op je wachten met een bordje met je naam erop. Kijk voor onze rode shirts voor gemakkelijke identificatie. We bieden ophaalservice aan binnen de pier, dus u hoeft niet buiten de faciliteiten te lopen. Tijdstip: Rondleidingen worden 30 minuten nadat uw schip is aangemeerd gepland, waarbij de vroegste rondleiding om 08.00 uur begint. This was an excellent activity. The guys were friendly and made us feel safe and we had so much fun. There was a photographer who did pictures for us and sold them to us for a very reasonable price. Our guide Rosa was so personable and catered to what we were interested in. It was beyond our expectations!

This was my first time zip lining. My husband had done it before in Tennessee. I thought it was plenty scary enough, but he said it was nothing compared to the length and height of the ones he did before. The setting was beautiful, the guides were so helpful and the tour guide for the rainforest walk was great. The driver we had, Karl, from the port to the excursion was very nice and informative. He stayed with us all day, and we enjoyed his company.

This was such an unforgettable experience. It was our first time in Costa Rica and our first time zip-lining. Diana and Alex were our transportation and guides to the rainforest. They stopped on the way there to show us some howler Monkeys and beautiful birds. The guide at the rainforest was Kennedy and he was so passionate and knowledgeable. When we finished the hike, we went zip-lining over 11 different lines. The first few were a bit terrifying for me but I soon got used to it and it felt natural and super fun! After the tour Diana, Alex, my husband and I went to grab some lunch at a hidden gem in Limon right on the ocean. We had great conversation and learned so much!
