Ontsnap aan de stad en breng een dag met de lokale bevolking door op hun privé-zomerhuisje. Combineer het met de sensatie van het rijden op een stijve RIB-boot! We bezoeken hun prachtige eiland met zijn zijdezachte kliffen. Maak kennis met de leuke gastheren en gastheren, haal gewoon de remmen uit hun gewone zomervakantie om hun privé-zomerhuisje voor ons open te stellen. Kom alles te weten over het leven in een cottage, vissen en de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Probeer de sauna met zijn adembenemende uitzicht. Maak een begeleide natuurwandeling en hoor alles over zwemmende elanden en bosbessen. Ga zitten op warme kliffen en geniet van de zelfgemaakte lunch op de archipel op deze ontspannen dag. Net als de lokale bevolking. Met de lokale bevolking. De RIB-boot brengt je binnen 30 minuten na deze minivakantie terug naar de stad.

We did the 4 hour RedRib Cottage Locals Experience, when we took the speed boat to the island and met with the owners of their cottage and their land. What a beautiful setting! The owners Magnus and Rita were absolutely wonderful hosts. We tried their true Finish sauna with awesome views of the sea, had a dip in the waters, with marvelous lunch of freshly caught fish and coleslaw/potato salad, some beers and ciders. And the conversation was truly enjoyable. We felt like we knew them from some time before! And the RedRib crew with Olli and Samuel(?) was absolutely professional and friendly, helping us with the gear and all the necessities of transfer in a speed boat across the sea. What a wonderful experience! Thank you very much, all of you!

We had previously been to Helsinki, so we were looking to do something completely normal. This tour popped up on my radar and I thought about it for a few days before booking. So glad we did it! This is a group tour, but due to the tourist season coming to an end in September, we ended up being the only two to book, and had a great experience. The day started off rainy, but we were well suited up for the boat ride and found it to be enjoyable. Meeting Magnus and enjoying his property, the sauna, the homecooked lunch, but most of all the conversation, was such a fun day! We only wish we got to stay longer!

We had the best day on this trip, the weather wasn’t great but we were provided with all the right gear which enhanced our experience. The crew were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Spending time with the locals gave us a great insight into the Finnish lifestyle and their hospitality was amazing. We would highly recommend this trip, it made our time in Helsinki extra special. We were also really impressed with the sustainability of this business!
