Beschrijving
Privétour – alleen jij met je leuke en informatieve gids. Dit is een unieke wandeltocht van een halve dag door legaal Londen met uw leuke en deskundige gids als uw metgezel. De tour begint bij de Royal Courts of Justice, waar gasten normaal gesproken een echte rechtszaak in openbare zitting kunnen ervaren. De tour omvat ook een wandeling door de beroemde Old Bailey, tour door het Rolls Building (waar Russische oligarchen komen om Britse gerechtigheid te zoeken) en de Inns of Court. Kijk waar voormalig premier Tony Blair zijn advocatenkantoren had. Gratis kopie van de Magna Carta en gratis drankje in een pub populair bij de advocatuur zijn inbegrepen. Tour loopt alleen doordeweeks. Aanvangstijd 13:30 uur en ontmoeting bij de ingang van Royal Courts on the Strand.

Binnen kijk je naar het Royal Courts-gebouw en waar mogelijk zit je in een live rechtszaak.
Hier in het Rolls Building worden internationale geschillen beslecht. Bijvoorbeeld de claim tegen Shell Oil voor milieuschade in Nigeria. Verborgen deel van het Britse rechtssysteem.
Je gids neemt je mee naar het terrein van de Law Courts, waaronder de Inner Temple en Middle Temple. U zult hier prachtige tuinen en fonteinen zien - waaronder de Dickens-fontein (Martin Chuzzlewit).

The guide was terrible. He was senile. He was not well versed in the court details. He kept getting lost
I cannot say enough great things about this experience and particularly, Mike Daly, our tour guide. He took so much care to show us the vast history of England's legal system. We especially enjoyed the tour of the inside of the Royal Courts of Justice. He made us feel at home and knew this subject very well. I would recommend this tour to anyone - particularly lawyers. We enjoyed great conversation at the end at a nice and cozy pub on a cold day - sitting in a double decker London bus that the pub has on offer. 10 out of 10 experience.
My husband and I are both older lawyers from Canada. As such we have heard a lot about the Halls of Justice and Inns of Court. We found it fascinating to actually be in those places and to sit in a courtroom where all the barristers wore wigs! We had not realized how extensive the Inns of Court were or how beautiful their gardens were. We were essentially on a private tour and our guide Muhsin was very informative and accommodating to our interests. I would recommend this tour to others.

Old Bailey, the old courthouse and all of the legal history. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and flexible to our specific needs.
We particularly enjoyed seeing the courts and learning about the English legal system. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and a joy to spend time with.
Our guide Mike was pleasant and friendly. About an hour into the tour, my mother was struggling with some of the walking and Mike completely rearranged the agenda to accommodate her concerns. We learned about this history of the London legal system and he also shared information with us about the City Liveries, which was quite interesting. We would highly recommend this tour, and would suggest asking for Mike.
Fortunately, the weather was nice for our tour and walking to the various sites was very enjoyable. As a retired attorney and Judge in the US, it was great to visit the sites which are the basis for our legal system. Our tour guide, Muhisin Mustaffa was very knowledgeable and gave very detailed interesting stories of places especially Royal Courts of justice. As a retired attorney and Judge, I really enjoyed seeing the Law Courts. We would recommend our guide to others without hesitation!’’
