Beschrijving
Met NortsaV Tours, een ervaren lokaal bedrijf, duurt de transfer van Rovaniemi-Ranua Zoo met een minibus ongeveer 1 uur. Op deze ongeveer 2,5 km lange wandelroute in het magische bos kunt u bijna 200 dieren en vogels ontmoeten die in de arctische gebieden voorkomen. De dierentuin is buiten, dus zorg dat je voldoende kleding draagt. De excursie is geschikt voor het hele gezin. Er zijn enkele sleeën (winter) en koetsen (zomer) beschikbaar voor kleinere kinderen, voor het geval ze het lopen beu worden. Na het bezoek heb je vrije tijd om te winkelen in de kleine boetiekjes. Lunchbuffet beschikbaar tegen extra kosten, afzonderlijk te boeken op de site van NortsaV Tours. Duur van de excursie is 5 uur.

Geniet van een gratis ophaalservice en transfer van uw accommodatie naar de Ranua Zoo door NortsaV Tours, een lokaal ervaren bedrijf. De overstaptijd bedraagt ongeveer 1 uur. Bij aankomst betreedt u de Arctische dierenwereld en begint u aan een rondleiding. Tijdens deze gemakkelijke wandeling van ongeveer 2,5 km door het magische bos kunt u bijna 200 dieren en vogels ontmoeten die in de arctische gebieden voorkomen. Hotel pickup on time, our guide was great, full of information and not just about the zoo. Loved the zoo, had plenty of time to walk around and eat afterwards.

Very pleasant day! Unfortunately many of the animals were not able to be seen. We had a guide Eero who was fantastic! He is a local who grew up in the Lapland. He was a wealth of information and knowledge about the animals, the land, and the culture.

It’s a very nice zoo featuring cold weather animals.. we were unable to see all the animals due to the season. Eero … our guide.. more than made up for that. A Lapland native, he is a wealth of information about the land, the people, and the environment.

We had light snow on our visit, and this adds to the charm of walking around. Such pretty scenery helps compensate for not seeing a few of the animals, i.e. set yourself some realistic expectations for a winter visit. Our driver Dimitri was also good company as we walked around.

The zoo trip was great in particular they had snow compared to where we were in santa village. This allowed us to have a snowball fight, snow angels and build snow men which up to that point we wernt able to do. The zoo itself is different to conventional zoos where there are huge enclosures for the animals. We saw about half the animals as during winter some of them were asleep. The sweet shop there is very reasonable priced in comparison to santavillage where the same box sweets were 5e in zoo n 16e in santa village. The gift shop n resteraunt have a huge selection of food. Our tour guide was so accomdatiing and even gave us extra time in the zoo to have some snow fun. We have a very good time and found the trip very good.

The guide was very on time and took us to the zoo, enjoy around though we did not see the polar bear , while there are various of owls as well. Recommended to go on a nice zoo trip in September!

Really nice experience by Normunds. We was picked up from our hotel, then explained about the day and drive in very comfortable van to the zoo. On the way we saw reindeer’s in wildlife. Was so amazing. Then we arrived at the zoo, was guided where is everything and then we could explore the zoo without the rush. Our toddler really loved it as he could see so many animals close to the fence. Was great family day. After the walk in zoo we went to eat in buffet and it was very nice and warm lunch. Then we had free time to go and play in kids play park. It was really great, everything was clear and guided and the drive didn’t feel long. Normand is professional and very kind person! Thank you!
