Marokko heeft zoveel te bieden. De Marokkaanse ervaring is als geen ander. Als je het geluk hebt Marokko te bezoeken en met de mensen om te gaan, wordt je ziel automatisch rijker, wijzer en vervuld. Je krijgt de gelegenheid om 's nachts het oude gedeelte van de hoofdstad van Marokko te bezoeken en het vanuit een lokaal perspectief te ontdekken. Ik zorg ervoor dat je een historische en culturele onderdompeling krijgt. we kunnen ook de rivier oversteken naar de naburige stad Sale en een wandeling langs de jachthaven maken. Ik neem je mee naar het beste lokale restaurant en de beste plekken waar de lokale bevolking meestal naartoe gaat. de rondleiding kan worden aangepast op basis van je behoeften en hoeveel tijd je hebt, en meestal is het erg flexibel, omdat ik er altijd voor zorg dat het aantal deelnemers minder dan vijf personen bedraagt. De tour start vanaf bank al maghrib aan de Mohammed V Avenue.

we bezoeken een plein dat op 16 november 2005 een nieuwe naam kreeg, ter herdenking van de terugkeer van de grootvader van koning Mohamed VI uit ballingschap, 50 jaar eerder. Deze gebeurtenis neemt een belangrijke plaats in in de strijd van Marokko voor onafhankelijkheid van de koloniale machten, en we zullen ons tijdens onze reis verdiepen in deze historische mijlpaal.
Hassantoren en Mausoleum van Mohammed V, een iconisch monument met een torenhoge minaret en de rustplaats van de Marokkaanse koningen. Geniet van de indrukwekkende architectuur en de prachtig ontworpen boulevard.
Pittoreske waterkant: Marina Rabat ligt langs de rivier de Bouregreg en de Atlantische Oceaan en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op het water en de nabijgelegen bezienswaardigheden
Bij de Kasbah van de Udayas, op korte loopafstand van de jachthaven, hebben we een panoramisch uitzicht op de Kasbah. Ontdek de rijke geschiedenis en de transformatie die het door de eeuwen heen heeft ondergaan.

I’m glad I went on this tour as Youssef gave a different insight into the life in the Medina, that we don’t get as tourists walking through. He shared great background information that gave context to what we were seeing. He also took us into alleys with food and produce shops that locals go to and patiently waited as we stopped everywhere and bought stuff :). Overall don’t miss out on this tour.
The perfect Rabat tour w/ the best guide! Youssef went out of his way and delivered an experience that was more than expected. It was raining (unusual for Rabat) so Youssef met us at our hotel, brought us an umbrella and even accompanied us to make sure we made it our dinner restaurant & arranged for a taxi back to the hotel - all unexpected & very appreciated! He was incredibly knowledgeable and knew exactly what info & experiences would be most meaningful - giving us delicious treats along the way. He knew all the “hidden gems” - people & places that would make the experience authentic & memorable! And his recommendations were spot on - be sure to follow them - you will be delighted! Yousef is a great, humble, and knowledgeable tour guide. You would definitely enjoy his company throughout the tour. He has answered all our questions about the historical locations. In addition to that, you will be able to taste some Moroccan dates and sweets during the tour, which really tatse delicious. I would highly recommend this tour for others, especially since it is a night tour.
We stayed in Rabat from a Monday to Friday and had a fantastic stay. Really worth visiting. City is so clean and well maintained. We stayed in a Riad in the Medina and could not fault it. Rabat was fantastic, the old medina is such a joy to walk around, meandering through the markets. No issues from people trying to get you to buy which was great, great comfort walking around. We got a tuk tuk to the Palace and the ruins and walked back . The city is very walkable and felt very safe. We sat out having a tea on the promenade then also got a boat across the river and walked the promenade, it has newer restaurants on that side if you want a more modern feel.
Youssef is kind, articulate, patient and interesting. He showed us many sights, explaining the cultural and historical significance of each. He was happy to take extra time to show us different areas and then walked us back to our hotel, in the medina, so we didn’t get lost. This was a wonderful introduction to a very beautiful city. I highly recommend booking this tour.
