Een heerlijke en fascinerende begeleide wandeling door de iconische Queen Victoria Market. Proef de meest verse producten, ontdek unieke ingrediënten, leer tips en trucs voor winkelen en koken, ontdek de geschiedenis van de Markt en ontmoet enkele van onze geliefde handelaars. Een begeleide wandeling van twee uur omvat royale proeverijen en een Market-draagtas. Proeverijen zijn afhankelijk van wat er vers is op de dag, maar omvatten meestal verse zeevruchten, gegrilde gepeperde kangoeroe, een selectie lokale kazen, verse dipsauzen, seizoensgebonden gelati en meer. Deze kleine groepsreis is beperkt tot 10 fijnproevers per gids. Houd er rekening mee dat, aangezien dit een foodietour is, we niet kunnen voldoen aan individuele dieetwensen. In lijn met het duurzaamheidsbeleid van de Markt verstrekken wij geen flessenwater. In plaats daarvan moedigen we gasten aan om hun eigen fles mee te nemen en bij te vullen bij onze waterbijvulstations rondom de Markt.

Mandy was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable guide who knows the market like the back of her hand. The food selections included a bit of the exotic - raw oysters, kangaroo sausage - along with charcuterie and wonderful jam doughnuts for dessert. Highly recommended.
Mercellez was our guide. Extremely knowledgeable about the history and current operations of the Market. Stall holders were all friendly and the tastings were superb. If you live in Melbourne you’d be foolish not to buy fresh from this Market. The freshness, variety, price coupled with smallholder’s that truly love what they do is worth supporting. The market is sensitive to their carbon footprint and their practices are to be commended. Highly recommend the tour and Mercellez..
A group of friends and I had an amazing time on this tour. Mercellez, our guide, was obviously passionate about food, the markets and their history. She had a great rapport with all the vendors and we were treated to some fabulous produce. This was a highlight of our girl's weekend and I would highly recommend it.

Rare opportunity to meet the fabulous providers, then gain inside knowledge of their produce and the crown of the experience is then try the food. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and inclusive. Providing good back ground of the history and operations of the market.

Mandy was a great host with fantastic insights to the market. We would have not had a clue where to go or what yo do with so many vendors. It was quite overwhelming. She introduced us to some very interesting stops and we loved the variety. I just wish there were more tastings as there are on other cities Trip Advisor recommendations. The price was unreasonable for the experience. NO reflection on our host as she was super fun and amazing. We have done food tours in different cities from Trip Advisor that we would definitely do again. This is not one of them as it is poor value.

Carmel was an excellent and gracious guide. The food samples were delicious - fruit, oysters, cheese, bread, gelato. The reusable shopping bag is very nice. I recommend this tour; plan a few hours after to explore the market on your own, if possible.
