Je bezoekt de enige versterkte stad in Noord-Amerika met geplaveide loopbruggen en goed bewaard gebleven 17e-eeuwse architectuur, die allemaal de hele stad de status van UNESCO-werelderfgoed hebben gegeven, zoals Chateau Frontenac, het charmante Place Royale, de Petit Champlain , en nog veel meer. Je zult niet alleen de oude Europese charme ervaren, maar je verwonderen over de schoonheid van de natuur terwijl je de grootsere Montmorency-watervallen in je opneemt, een volle 30 m hoger dan de Niagara-watervallen. In de winter kunt u een bezoek brengen aan het Ice Hotel, het enige in zijn soort in Noord-Amerika.

De 30 meter hoge waterval, 30 meter hoger dan de Niagarawatervallen en op slechts 15 minuten van het oude Quebec, domineert het Parc de la Chute-Montmorency. Geniet van een spectaculaire kabelbaanreis naar de top van de watervallen met vele adembenemende uitzichtpunten en paden. Het toegangsbewijs is niet inbegrepen, maar je kunt wel toegangskaarten kopen via de gids in de bus.
Als enige versterkte stad in Noord-Amerika heeft Quebec City een geschiedenis van meer dan 400 jaar. We zullen Quebec City vanuit veel verschillende hoeken ontdekken, zoals politiek, leger, geschiedenis, erfgoed, architectuur en nog veel meer. In het oude Quebec City verkennen we de Petit Champlain, een wijk in Quebec City. Het is zelfs de oudste wijk van Noord-Amerika met beroemde bezienswaardigheden zoals de muurschildering Rue du Petit Champlain en Breakneck Stairs. Vooral de kathedraal-basiliek van Notre-Dame de Québec staat bekend als de oudste kerk in Amerika. De lange geschiedenis en nauwe relatie met Nieuw-Frankrijk maken het een van de belangrijkste nationale historische locaties voor heel Canada. Daarnaast is Château Frontenac ontworpen door de Amerikaanse architect Bruce Price. Het is gebouwd volgens de eisen van de Canadian Pacific Railway Company (CPR) en is goed voor een van de serie hotelgebouwen in kasteelstijl en nog veel meer te zien.

Wonderful day. Wonderful guide and driver. Only slight negative was the cost and time taken with the optional visit to the observatoire at Quebec city.

I had such a wonderful time today visiting Montmorency Falls and Old Quebec City. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the town was so charming with its historic streets and unique atmosphere. Today I have visited the city and I liked it a lot. Everything was nice and well prepared. I especially liked oure guide, eva. She was very nice, told us a story about the city before we arrive. She also is cheerful and energetic. I loved evrything about this trip.
The quebec tour was fantastic its definitely a must see. The trip started with water falls and then ended with us roaming old quebec love every second of it. Our tour guide eva was fantastic too.

Activity fee is not included. The guide will collect fee only by cash in the bus, $50 per adult. Actually, most of fee is not needed. For example, Observatoire de la Capitale in Quebec City is very boring, not worth to pay for it. Also, the cable car in Montmorency fall is not needed if you are not interested in cable car experience. The fall is very closed and it will have more fun if you walk to the fall. The most interesting place is the old Quebec City and it is free. Suggest that if you choose this tour, don’t pre-pay any activity fee in the bus. But if you do that, the guide may not be happy🤣
