Quadtocht naar het Nationaal Park Teide (3u)

In deze excursie zijn de spectaculaire panorama’s de meesters. We komen in het achterland van het eiland tot aan de voet van de vulkaan op ongeveer 2100 m, doorkruisen de boskroon tot aan het nationaal park de Teide, waar u de vulkaan in al zijn pracht en de ongelooflijke rotsformaties zult zien. We passeren typische dorpjes, waar we aan het einde van de tour kunnen stoppen voor een snelle snack (niet inbegrepen). Gegarandeerd plezier voor iedereen. Onze quads zijn zeer eenvoudig in gebruik en tegelijkertijd betrouwbaar en veelzijdig. Ze hebben automatische versnellingen, twee comfortabele stoelen en een sterke tractie. Zowel beginners als experts zullen tevreden zijn.

Route geschikt voor iedereen en perfect om in alle veiligheid te rijden, zelfs met een passagier aan boord. Je rijdt over goede verharde wegen en eenvoudige onverharde paden zodat je beter kunt genieten van de spectaculaire uitzichten. Je komt door veel verschillende binnenlanden van het eiland. Je ziet enkele typische Canarische dorpjes waar je kunt stoppen en lokale producten kunt proeven. Daarna ga je door de Corona Forestal naar het spectaculaire Teide's Park. Tijdens de reis geven onze gidsen u alle informatie en. beantwoord uw vragen.

If you want to lose 4.5 hours to drive 2 hours in an Indian line at 30 km/h on a macadamisee road in the middle of cars and bicycles Go! We promise you will do 30% off road, you will not do a meter. We promise to see the edge of the Teide crater and we stop you at 2000m altitude at the side of the road while the volcano peaks at 3600m... Admittedly, the scenery is pretty, but do it by car you will save 3 hours, 300€ and you will not have to drag yourself at 30 km/h on the road with machines that have interest only on tracks off the beaten track. Last info, the appointment was at 10:30 and we left only at 11:50 after long formalities and.... had to fill up with gas!

Concernant le retard au départ, effectivement un décalage inhabituel a eu lieu ce jour-là, dû à une combinaison de facteurs exceptionnels. Nous nous excusons pour ce désagrément, qui ne reflète pas notre fonctionnement habituel. Le tour a néanmoins duré environ 3 heures, avec un départ vers 11h40 et un retour vers 14h45, et non 2 heures. Concernant le Teide, il a été clairement expliqué avant le départ que l’itinéraire mène jusqu’à la base du Teide, dans la zone de La Caldera, et non jusqu’au cratère ou au sommet, qui ne sont ni accessibles ni autorisés en quad. Il n’a jamais été promis d’atteindre les 3.718 m d’altitude. Enfin, l’off-road n’est pas prévu sur ce tour. Si des informations différentes ont été communiquées lors de la vente par des points externes, elles ne correspondent pas à notre offre officielle, toujours précisée lors du briefing. Nous regrettons sincèrement que l’expérience n’ait pas répondu à vos attentes. Les paysages restent exceptionnels, mais il est important que le type d’excursion soit bien compris avant la réservation.
The experience was fantastic, we drove both me and my wife, we have gone so far 2100 meters on the teide and we even had fun in a dirt area. Our guide Lapo is a really one-legged guy, very prepared and nice. He made us live everything to the fullest. Do not underestimate the shuttle that we have included in the price from our hotel to the meeting point and back. Exceptional
What a brilliant experience. From booking communication, collection from our hotel, to the actual quad experience we can't fault these guys. Their attention to detail was fantastic. Whilst no one can control the weather 👀, they are highly adept at making the best of it, figuring a way round it, and ensuring everyone's enjoyment and safety. We loved every minute of it. Well I booked the quad tour but during the night my boy and i were really sick 🤢 First thing in the morning I asked to reschedule from the Wednesday to the Friday. I was met with a 24 cancellation policy ! I informed them I wasn’t cancelling just rescheduling as the sickness bug. They then said I could do this as long as I paid another €50 per head per quad another €100! They then asked for a doctors certificate which I can provide! I pointed out that their website doesn’t state anything about 24hour policy to which they replied well it’s the done thing. Is it? Surely this must be clearly written on the website. Bottom line told them to keep the -€120 deposit as this was agreed but as a company they are totally unprofessional and there manner towards me was totally unacceptable. I’d think twice before using this out fit! I don’t mind paying for stuff but I take acceptance to companies trying to fleece even more money.
Our tours are sized for small groups of max 5 quads for safety reasons and to maximize the confort and fun for the clients. Your cancellation has been done only few hours before the tour and wouldn't have given us the time to replace the booking. The 24hours policy applies to such cases and we should change the date only with the payment of a fee of 50 euro/quad ( not 100 euro !). Later as you explained this cancellation was due to sickness , we accepted to change the date of the booking without any fee payment. It was your decision not to go for the excursion, even with the possibility to choose between two different schedules.
Amazing Quad Tour with Federico and Cristian! We had such an incredible time on this quad tour! Federico was fantastic, sharing fascinating information about the volcanoes and the surrounding area. He really knows his stuff and made the tour so interesting. Cristian kept us entertained the entire time in the car, we have learn a bit of Italian , he was making the experience even more fun. They were both professional, friendly, and ensured we had an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a mix of excitement, education, and great company! Terrible tour, Transfer pick up driver was constantly on phone whilst driving (including a video call at one point, it was extremely dangerous and continued throughout the transfers both ways. The advert states equipment provided yet we had to pay 15 euros for 2 coats to wear (no instruction or advice to bring warm clothes when we booked through holiday extras, we were only instructed to have full shoes when booking). The quads weren’t ready to go when we got there, they needed filling with fuel and tyres inflating before we started (I don’t think this is a one off, I get the impression that this is the norm). Out of the 5 quads on the tour 3 of them broke down, and also some had no lights working, this again was dangerous as the weather and visibility was extremely poor and on the road other cars buses etc struggled, and we indeed struggled to see the quad in front with no lights. We didn’t get any off-road experience but this may be due to inclement weather, however an alternative lower down route was never offered which was disappointing. It was an expensive road trip in miserable conditions to see nothing which could have been done far cheaper and in more comfort by hiring a car or quad privately. On the way down due to bad weather one customer got left behind after his quad broke down, it took me 2 or 3 miles before I caught the tour guides attention (same guy as the pick up driver) to tell him, but as he didn’t speak English he didn’t understand and didn’t even realise he was missing one quad and person (serious H&S issue there) and no matter how much I tried explaining he just insisted we keep going back to base still unaware we were missing someone!! They then had to go rescue the missing person once we got back and only after I spoke to the other guy who spoke some english. Advert stated bottle of water provided but nothing offered to anyone. The transfer journey home was same again, driver constantly handling his phone making calls, being distracted whilst driving with 8 passengers aboard. The outfit itself seemed very shoddy, old quad bikes, poor maintenance, poor communication and responsibility of the management. Observed on our trip other tours, all riding new quads and wearing the same coats, gloves helmets etc so it pays to look around and see what you are getting first. This was by far the worst excursion ever experienced and the most unsafe I’ve ever felt in a transfer vehicle, I will be seeking a full refund.
Incredible views, excellent. Highly recommend, one of the best experiences iv ever had. You go above the clouds and have a few stops for pictures etc. Fantastic
Views and spectacular places, great fun even the “off-road” route. Guide Stefano and the guys in the squad were very kind.
This tour has exceeded all expectations. The guides are very nice and friendly. After we were picked up at our hotel, a free service by the way, we left at the starting point in Arona. We drove up in a group and stopped at the Pino Gordo landmark where we were given extensive time for photos. At the end of the road we had a beautiful view over Mount Teide. We were again given time to walk, take pictures etc... In returning, the group was split up because there was a slower driver. We left together with the one Guide and were able to increase the speed. The scared driver came behind with the other Guide. There was also a bit of off-road that gave a spectacular experience and also produced fantastic pictures. After the drive we were dropped off neatly in front of the hotel by Federico, one of the guides. He gave us some explanation about the island of Tenerife during the return trip with the minibus. For this price we were really pampered and we had a super nice afternoon. Highly recommended!!!
