Een van de haltes om te bezoeken is het uitkijkpunt Mira Mera, waarvan de naam het kanton eert dat u in het Amazonegebied zal verwelkomen.
Op deze plek kun je 30 minuten over de Puyo-rivier navigeren, na deze tour ga je lunchen waar je 4 voedselopties hebt, zoals: Kip-vlees-vis of groenten
Onze gecertificeerde gids zal uitleg geven over de geneeskrachtige planten van de Amazone, een wandeling van 30 minuten maken naar de Hola Vida-waterval, waar je kunt zwemmen als je wilt, en in contact komen met de natuur.
Je bezoekt een inheemse gemeenschap waar je deelneemt aan hun traditionele dans, het gebruik van de blaaspijp, ze zullen je gezicht schilderen als tijdelijke tatoeage en je bezoekt een museum waar je handwerk kunt kopen als je dat wilt. 30 minuten onderweg om de plaats te bereiken
Bij het Indichuris-uitkijkpunt ben je getuige van een prachtige zonsondergang omringd door lianen, hangmatten, schommels, de jungle en de imposante Pastaza-rivier op de achtergrond. 30 minuten onderweg om de plaats te bereiken
Ten slotte bezoeken we een lokale familie waar ze het proces van biologische chocolade uit Ecuador uitvoeren, op deze plek kun je kleine porties chocolade proeven, als je chocolade wilt kopen, kan dat.

Based on the 5 star reviews, my boyfriend and I were so excited for this tour… Since the tour guide did not reach out the night before, I messaged sent a message just to confirm time (0900) and meet up location. They were prompt, clear in their responses, which was greatly appreciated. We got to the location at 0850, where we checked in and signed our waivers. 0900 there was still no driver, so we asked the gentleman if we had time to get breakfast. He said that the driver would be there in 5 minutes… add another 40 minutes to that and the driver EVENTUALLY shows up. I asked a reason for the delay and he said that he had to pick up other guests. There were no other guests on the bus when we got on. The sites we visited were super touristy locations, that were jam packed. Mainly places for photo opportunities with displays. The one thing I did truly enjoy was the hike to the waterfall. The waterfall itself was beautiful, but again it was packed and we were only allowed 25 minutes there. Our guide was inattentive and truly didn’t care about our experience. The only time he interacted with us and showed us a medicinal plant used for sinuses, etc.He was lost in his cellphone or chatting with his other tour friends the majority of the time. While walking to and from the water fall he straight up powered forward and left the group behind. What if someone got injured or sick? I took some pictures and videos of the group walking through the woods alone. I wish we would’ve chosen another tour or just made our own itinerary. Definitely the worst tour I’ve been apart of.

That morning our driver had to coordinate pickups before arriving at the meeting point, which unfortunately caused the delay, as this is a shared tour and not a private tour. In a private tour we would have departed only with you. Regarding the places visited during the tour, the Amazon one-day excursion includes some well-known sites that are popular among visitors. These places can sometimes be busy because they are public tourist locations open to everyone, not private sites. It is normal that popular attractions have more visitors, especially during peak hours, as many travelers want to experience them. We are sorry to hear that the guide did not seem attentive during the experience. This is not the level of service we aim to provide. Our guides are usually recognized in many reviews for their friendliness, knowledge, and attentiveness, so we will definitely share your comments with our team to reinforce the importance of staying close to the group and ensuring that every participant feels supported during the hike and throughout the tour. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the hike to the waterfalls and the natural beauty of the area, which is one of the highlights of this excursion. Unbelievable value for money. It’s a whole day out packed with great activities and unique experiences. Pablo was a great guide (you could tell his knowledge extended beyond just being a tourist guide) and Jaime is an excellent driver around difficult roads. Lunch was included (+3 dollars for fresh fish which was delicious). Available in both English and Spanish. Zero complaints at all, a really wonderful experience.

Full day for a first discovery of this region. Several beautiful views and an end in apotheosis with the Indichuris viewpoint. Visit to a local indigenous community and a chocolate making demonstration. Whatever your time available or your budget, Mishell will advise you to discover its country
