Pure Trek Canyoning & Sky Trek Zipline Combo

We did two activities with this company and both were fantastic. The first one we did was zip lining and that was great. They picked us up from their office and took us to the main zip lining resort. Afterward they brought us back and fed us a delicious traditional Costa Rican style lunch. Then we boarded one of their busses which took us to our second activity, canyoning. The ride there was a bit bumpy, but it was extremely fast. The guides were extremely kind and helpful. Personally, our guide was Jorge and he was great. He explained everything wonderfully and helped us have an amazing experience. 10 out of 10 tour. I would 100% do this again and recommend everyone to do the same.

Jonathan, Diana, Manuel, Pedro, and the rest of the crew were fun, informative, knowledgeable, safe, and even motivational. A truly wonderful experience repelling and canyoning in a uniquely beautiful area of Costa Rica.

Canyoning was the highlight on our trip to CR. Zip line was still fun but the guys at Pure Trek canyoning were amazing and treated us to a wild experience. Wanna do it again.

Zip lining after was also fun and probably would have been afraid to do that if I didn’t have such a good experience canyoning first

Had the best time today rappelling in Fortuna. The guys at Pure Trek put a scaredy cat like me at ease. I left feeling like it was 10% scary (to lump off a ledge) and 90% super fun! I highly recommend, even for a 50+ year old like me.

We had a fabulous time canyoning with Pure Trek - it was the activity we were all the most excited for (& a bit nervous) and it was such a cool experience and I highly recommend. We had come from doing Sky Adventures zip lines in the morning (also amazing) and were running a bit later than the rest of the group. The time with Pure Trek started with lunch and that chicken and rice meal ended up being one of our top five meals while in La Fortuna. It was delicious and kudos to them for not skimping on flavour even though it's just a meal alongside an activity. We then rode up to the falls and were swiftly supplied our gear and given the requisite safety demos and instructions. We then proceeded to go through the course. It is likely because we, and another two couples with us, were late but the experience felt a bit rushed. At the top of a waterfall and at the bottom we felt a little bit hurried along. As someone that was nervous about it, being hurried at the top probably helped me as I didn't have time to dwell on my fear but the guides kept asking us 'how many more?' and it gave the impression that they were keen to get it all finished. It was such a cool experience and yet felt like it all happened really quickly. I can't imagine its possible, but it would be really cool if the 1st waterfall could come later in the progression so that people had a practice one first and then could enjoy the 1st one more (as its the longest). We had such a great time, it was such a cool experience and activity. We felt entirely safe throughout the whole process and everyone was really nice. I also appreciated how they explained the deal with the pictures/videos in the ride up to the falls and give you up to a year to make a decision. Another activity we did just told us about the pictures & cost right at the end when we needed to make a decision and it felt a bit forced - at Pure Trek they handled that moment really really well and we appreciated it. If we find ourselves in La Fortuna again we will certainly re-do this activity and look at their other options.

Sky Adventures Zip Lining and Pure Trek Canyoning were both 10/10 experiences and a must do while in La Fortuna! Such an adrenaline rush! My partner and I are both terrified of heights but the expert guides and high quality equipment that was used in both experiences gave us confidence and the ability to really enjoy these activities! Transportation provided was great, timely and clean. And on the way back we were able to accommodate our request to get dropped off at a different location which was very convenient for our plans later that day. Lunch was served at the restaurant at the Pure Trek facility after Zip Lining and before Canyoning. It was a nice portion of arroz con pollo (chicken and rice) with beans and salad side a fresh papaya juice. I would like to reiterate how great the guides were at both experiences but especially at the canyoning. They really were experts at belaying and made us feel super safe and ensuring there was no room for error even on our end :) Note: for the canyoning, it does require some moderate hiking on trails between each repel and back to the top of the valley so some level of physical fitness is required

What an awesome experience. My husband and I went to celebrate his 60th birthday. At first I was a little hesitant as it looked maybe too much for our age, but this was super safe and the guides really make you feel confident. I didn't want to stop.
