De Puffing Billy Railway en Phillip Penguin Island-dagtour is een zeer populaire tourcombinatie in Victoria, Australië. Ten eerste kunnen bezoekers de Puffing Billy Railway ervaren, een historische stoomtrein die een fascinerende reis door de Dandenong Ranges biedt. Reizen met de trein zorgt niet alleen voor een unieke nostalgische ervaring, maar laat je onderweg ook genieten van het natuurschoon en de historische bezienswaardigheden. Vervolgens gaan bezoekers naar Phillip Island, beroemd om zijn Penguin Parade. Elke avond keren de kleine blauwe pinguïns terug van de zee naar hun nesten op het eiland. Dit is het meest spectaculaire moment van de dag. Bezoekers kunnen deze kleine pinguïns zien wankelen naar de kust op het observatiedek van het Phillip Island Nature Park. Dit is een warme en magische scène.

We vertrekken rond 9.00 uur vanuit de stad om naar de stoomtrein Puffing Billy te gaan. De treinreis duurt ongeveer 1 uur en 15 minuten.
Reizigers gaan 60 minuten aan boord van de Puffing Billy-stoomtrein (enkele reis) en hebben een pauze van 30 minuten voordat de trein vertrekt.
Na de stoomtreinrit met Puffing Billy vervolgen we onze reis gedurende ongeveer 1 uur en 30 minuten om het Maru Wildlife Park te bereiken.
Het duurt ongeveer 30 minuten om de chocoladefabriek te bereiken (afhankelijk van het willekeurige bezoek van het treinschema)
Na het Maru Park duurt het ongeveer 30 minuten om Nobbies Centre te bereiken.
We nemen 30 minuten de tijd om naar Penguin View Park te gaan voor het ophalen van de kaartjes, en u heeft mogelijk ongeveer 45 minuten de tijd voor het diner. Het natuurlijke ecologische reservaat Penguin Island is momenteel de grootste beschermingsbasis voor wilde pinguïns ter wereld.

An unforgettable experience with an equally hospitable tour guide. Safe driving even in the craziest of rain showers! Visited several iconic locations in Victoria, making for a very memorable anniversary. Looking forward to the next year.
Our driver and leader Michael very professional and friendly, the day encountered steam small train bad without opening, he was also very helpful to help us take the day's journey, added a couple points, very careful explanation, very friendly attitude, although meeting the small train not opened, everyone very disappointed, but because of Michael's attitude, we are still in disappointment, have a very happy time.
We were incredibly fortunate to have David Chen as our guide. He was professional, patient, and trustworthy. His time management was excellent, and his explanations were clear and detailed. At every stop on the itinerary, he carefully explained all the important details and precautions, ensuring that everyone knew what to expect and how to stay safe. He also shared insightful information about the local culture, answered every question thoroughly, and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The vehicle was new, clean, and comfortable, adding to the overall comfort of the trip. (The day before, I called David to confirm the pick-up location, and he promptly returned my call, which gave me great peace of mind.) I highly recommend David Chen as your guide if you’re planning to join this tour!
We had an amazing time on this tour! Our guide, David Chen, was super friendly and really knew his stuff, making the whole trip to Puffing Billy and Philip Island so enjoyable. The steam train ride was such a fun experience, and seeing the penguins at Philip Island was absolutely unforgettable. Everything was really well-organized, and David went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had the best spots to enjoy the views. I’d totally recommend this tour—definitely a 5-star experience!
A 10/10 wonderful tour! We had a great experience on everything listed on the itinerary and as scheduled. Bob is the best - he is very experienced and easygoing, always had a smile on his face throughout the trip, and went extra miles just to ensure we had the greatest possible experience. My parents have walking problems due to old age and Bob had been very considerate to accomodate their needs. I can’t recommend him enough. Overall tour was good, the train was exciting and the penguins were cute. Important point is that the tour guide only said Chienese for whole day even I chose English. The guide cannot say English well, so he made other customers to translate what he said - which was not correct though - and only informed me when to come back. I cannot understand any explanation that day and was disappointed. I lost the group few times since I wasn't informed properly about the plan. After the tour, I requested the partial refund for language issue but the tour guide answered that he used English, but due to my lack of English proficiency, I didn't understand what he's saying. WHAT? It's an insult to the customer, feeling very bad. Contacting several times via phone call(cuz I can speak English fluently), I finally got partial refund. Anyway, I recommend not to choose this tour if you cannot speak Chinese. I don't know why there's option for choosing English.

The Puffing Billy Trip was beautiful and the views were exhilarating ! The drive through Emerald and sights around the Lake were breathtaking and so refreshing ! So also the stop at Maru National Wildlife Park, the drive to the Nobbies & walk around, and the Penguin Parade - all showed us a side of Melbourne that we would never have imagined. An action- packed day out on the whole, well worth the cost of the Tour !! Our Tour Guide - Michael, was very informative, knowledgeable, entertaining and patient - making the trip twice as more enjoyable and memorable !!
