Ontdek samen met je ervaren lokale gids de stalagmieten in de grot die op mensen lijken en de vreemde vormen die uit de muur groeien. - Geen verborgen kosten. Kleine groep. - Toegang tot de grot vereist overheidsvergunningen die we van tevoren verwerken. De namen, leeftijd en nationaliteit van elke toerist zijn vereist. Vergunningen kunnen niet in het gebied worden verwerkt, dus vooraf reserveren is beter. - Deze rondleidingen zijn community-based. De Ugong-rots wordt beheerd door de inwoners van Brgy Tagabenit, voornamelijk samengesteld uit de inheemse volkeren van de Batak-stam en Tagbanua. Deze maken allemaal deel uit van het op de gemeenschap gebaseerde duurzame toerisme dat de overheid promoot. Het project heeft tot doel de toeristenindustrie een boost te geven en tegelijkertijd de gemeenschap te helpen door de lokale bewoners een middel van bestaan te bieden en campagnes voor milieubescherming te promoten.

Voor gasten die buiten de stad of buiten de hoofdstad verblijven, halen wij u op, maar er zijn extra kosten van toepassing. Voor gasten in het centrum van Puerto Princesa is ophalen en wegbrengen gratis. Als u geïnteresseerd bent in een privérondleiding voor uw groep, laat het ons dan weten, maar voor een privérondleiding geldt een ander tarief. The organization was very bad! After arriving in Palawan we had to wait for hours for a free ship. Our guide then decided to bridge the waiting time that we should have lunch at 10.00! At some point we went by ship to the underground river. Again we had to wait endlessly for a boat for the river! The cave was already very worth seeing and beautiful. The Ugong cave then failed due to the eternal wait. Our recommendation is to book better through the cruise ship as cruise ships always have priority
This place is simply breath-taking! A short ocean boat ride to a hidden paradise of ancient wonders under the mountains. A subterranean ride though majestic stalactites and stalagmites like you will never see anywhere else in your life. Truly a once in a lifetime chance to see millions of years of nature's evolution. I hope the preservation of this land and it's people will go on forever. A must on your bucket list.

The experience was more than what we expected. It was a fabulous tour. Well organized, clean, friendly, and professional. The only other thing we could recommend would be absolutely wear water shoes or shoes that you can get wet and dry quickly and bring or apply bug spray. Bugs were not bad but to avoid even 1-2 bites is worth it. The silence and use of the audio tour made this a very special and moving experience! 10/10
A good excursion from Puerto Princesa. Our guide and our driver were good. The underground river cave is a must visit. There was not a lot of waiting when we came. The lunch was included and was very good. Afterwards You visit another cave and can do zipline. This daytrip is perfect if you want to see the underground river and do zipline.
This was a wonderful tour. Our tour guide and the tour company were both great! We had a spectacular day seeing the Palawan countryside and the beautiful Unesco underground river! I definitely recommend this tour! As a side note, the road from Puerto Princesa to the underground river is very winding, so prepare if you have a tendency to get motion sickness.

We had such an amazing day with World Holiday Travel and Tours! We booked the Amazing 3in1 Palawan Underground River & Ugong cave + zipline. Our guide, Xio, was fantastic—super knowledgeable, friendly, and reassuring. He not only gave us a great overview of Puerto Princesa’s history and culture but also explained exactly how the day would go, which really helped us relax. We were a bit nervous about timing, especially with the zip-line and getting back to our cruise ship, but Xio made everything so easy and answered all our questions. One of the best parts of the tour was how smooth and efficient everything went, Xio made sure we didn’t waste any time, and we were even rushed to the front of the line for the boats at the Palawan Underground River. No long waits—just straight into the experience, which was amazing! As it was a private tour, we didn’t have to wait for anyone else, so we had plenty of time to enjoy each activity. We also got our own boat which was really great. If you’re coming from a cruise ship, I’d definitely recommend booking a private tour like this. Make sure you leave the ship early, before the big crowds, so you can get to the Underground River before the rush. As for the Underground River itself—wow! It was absolutely stunning, unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The audio guide was really interesting and explained all the incredible formations we were looking at. Xio also made the whole process so easy, from start to finish. The Ugong Caves and zip-line were also highlights. Exploring the caves was so much fun (even squeezing through some tight spots), and the zip-line was an absolute must-do! It was such a fun and adventurous way to end the day. One thing to mention is the drive to and from the sites. The roads are windy, and the driver was a bit fast at times. We’re sure we could have asked him to slow down if it bothered us, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you get motion sickness or prefer a slower pace. All in all, the tour was incredible. World Holiday Travel and Tours and our guide Xio really went above and beyond to make it a perfect day. If you’re visiting Puerto Princesa, especially by cruise ship, this is the tour to book!
First things first, our guide Anna and our driver was great. The experience probably would have been great too if we got to do it. I booked a private tour, but it really wasn't private. We just had our own van. We share the guide with another van of 9 people. We left the ship ASAP and got to our van, but we couldn't leave until the other 9 people got there. And they were late, which means I'm delayed. When we got to the place where we had to board a bankga boat to get to the underground river, there was a very long wait. We waited at least 1.5 to 2 hours before we got into a bankga boat. Then when we got to the underground river site, there was another long wait for the paddle boats that go inside the caves. Apparently the cruise ships get priority. So after waiting over an hour, we (including the group of 9) decided to leave because we had to drive back to the ship (1.5 to 2 hours drive each way). None of us even had time to have the included lunch. My advice is this: if you're coming from a cruse ship, pay more and take the ship excursion. At least you go first and if you're late, the ship will wait for you. Back to my experience. I booked the tour that included zip lining. Since the zip lining was on the way back to the ship, we managed to do that activity. It was amazing. We walked through a cave before reaching the point where we climbed up rock crevices to the summit. Warning: there are very tight spots to squeeze yourself through. So it may be more challenging for a larger person. But it was a fun climb and a long zip line....about 30 seconds.

We want to clarify that the scheduling and management of the Underground River tours are controlled by the government of Puerto Princesa, and all tour operators must follow the system they’ve set in place. This means that the government determines the order in which boats depart and manages the number of visitors allowed each day. Unfortunately, when there are large numbers of tourists, particularly when cruise ships are in port, delays and longer waiting times can occur, which is beyond our control. We completely understand how frustrating this can be and we truly apologize for the inconvenience caused by the waiting time. We had a fantastic time on our tour, the underground river which Is one of the 7 Natural wonders of the world and a UNESCO site was everything we hoped for, a must dee if you are in the area. There were wild monkey’s, a huge monitor lizards and a bat filled cave too. The cave and. Zip line was fun also although I would not recommend it if you are older or over weight as it is really challenging and extremely difficult to squeeze through the narrow passageways. This is not recommended for people who are afraid to tiny spaces. The zip line was super fun, make sure you ride in the Superman position.
