Maak een wandeling door het beroemde Bohnice Psychiatrisch Ziekenhuis en naar het historische verlaten kerkhof, waar u kennis maakt met de intense en soms donkere geschiedenis van het gebied van de psychiatrie. Uw Gids leidt u door een doolhof van gebouwen die rijk zijn aan zowel geschiedenis als controverse vanaf de oudheid tot heden. Leer over de kwellingen van 19e en 20e eeuwse psychiatrische behandelingen en de pijnlijke levens van de gevangenen in het ziekenhuis. En ten slotte leiden we je naar het kerkhof waar ogenschijnlijk rustige gemeenschap veel zielen tot rust kwamen; de geschiedenis vertelt van een ander verhaal. We ontmoeten elkaar voor de poort van het Psychiatrisch Ziekenhuis. Je maakt kennis met de intense en soms duistere geschiedenis van de psychiatrie. Je wordt door een doolhof van gebouwen geleid die rijk zijn aan geschiedenis en controverse. Wees voorbereid om een geheel nieuwe, andere wereld te betreden die bevlekt is met martelende en dodelijke behandelingen.
De omgeving van het verlaten ziekenhuiskerkhof - na een korte wandeling bezoeken we het kerkhof van een ziekenhuis, een van de meest mysterieuze, eenzame en donkere plekken in Praag.
Uitzichtpunt met uitzicht op de vallei in de buurt - een prachtig uitzicht over de hele vallei en de rivier de Moldau.
De tour eindigt voor het Psychiatrisch Ziekenhuis, maar de gids gaat naar de metro, dus je kunt met hem mee.

I did this tour with a group of friends and I really enjoyed it. Allen was a great tour guide. He was very friendly informative and chatty. I feel like I’ve learnt so much about the psychiatric hospital in Prague alongside its history. The tour was about three hours long and it was lovely to walk through the Czech countryside. I would definitely recommend this tour if you enjoy history and psychology!

Visiting the hospital and cemetery was a wonderful experience, different from the usual tourist routes. Allen, our guide, was very kind and professional, three hours passed quickly.

Ian was very good guide tour. He knew a lot about the place. We visited the area of the Psychiatric Hospital. He told us a lot of things about the hospital itself and about some of the patients that were here at the time and as well as a lot of patients that were staying there back in time. Overall it was an interesting tour and something not very common to visit. Be prepared though the tour lasted 3 hours approximately with a lot of walking around the area. We also visited a creepy abandoned cemetery but it was nice and calming same time.

Me and my friend (UK) went on the guided tour with Allen and it was FANTASTIC from start to finish. The tour was our favourite thing we did on the trip and we were very sad when it came to an end. We all had a really good laugh throughout as well as still being serious when informing us of the different eras and buildings.
