In hun gezelschap krijgt u een kijkje achter de schermen van de wijnhuizen en geniet u van een Masterclass over wijnproeven en de wijnen van de Provence. Het heet “leren voor de lol in de zon”! U zult genieten van gezellige en ontspannen momenten in de prachtige landschappen van de Provence terwijl we samen drie emblematische, bekroonde wijngaarden bezoeken. We zullen samen deze meest historische wijngaard ontdekken en deelnemen aan onze Masterclass over wijnproeven en het hele onderwerp van wijn maken in de Provence - vooral onze wereldberoemde rosés natuurlijk. Je proeft enkele van de beste Cru Classée-wijnen van het landgoed.....
Hoog op een heuvel, met uitzicht op de vallei van de rivier de Argens, zal dit exclusieve landgoed een lust voor het oog en een streling voor uw smaakpapillen zijn. Medaillewinnende wijnen - geweldige fotomomenten - verbluffende vergezichten - wat is er niet leuk aan?
We bezoeken onze derde wijngaard waar moderniteit en traditie samenkomen. Dit familiebedrijf produceert al 4 generaties lang een zeer hoog aangeschreven en uitgebreid assortiment medaillewinnende wijnen. Bij deze gecertificeerde biologische wijngaard genieten we van een kelderbezoek en verkennen we de fijne kneepjes van het wijnmaken, terwijl we in de schaduw van de olijfbomen enkele van de beste jaargangen van het landgoed proeven.

My third trip with Azur and probably not my last Ive had 3 different guides and they have all been excellent 3 great and varied vignobles and an excellent lunch stop All 5 of us bought wine which says a lot about the quality

Edwin our guide was fantastic - the whole group learnt more about wine making in a day than all of us had learnt in a lifetime We visited 3 different types of wineries - some rose whites and reds but Edwin will tailor the wine to your tastes Lunch was also a highlight - 3 courses of Michelin star quality at reasonable prices

We had a terrific day, our guide Lionel was punctual and courteous. He played the music we liked on our hour drive to the first winery. Once we arrived, he showed us around the property while giving a detailed history of the origins and production overview of the current winery. Lionel chose three excellent wineries for us to visit, each one different from the last and all showcased different varietals the region. We spent time at each going through tasting notes, and shipped some of our favourites back home. Lionel also made a lunch reservation for us. Highly recommend- we were a party of four but the vehicle can comfortably seat 6 or 7.

It was a very pleasant day in Provence. The day started with our prompt pick-up in vielle ville part of Antibes. Peter was our guide for the day, and provided an interesting and fact filled conversation about the region as we drove the approximately 60 minutes to the first winery. There were 3 wineries on the itinerary for the day. The first was a very old winery estate where they have discovered ruins of an ancient Roman winery on the grounds. The second winery as an exquisite estate that was built within the last 30-40 year but the architecture makes it look like it has been there much, much longer. The last winery stop was a little more modern looking tasting room, but just as charming as the others. Along the way, Peter arranged for lunch at a wonderful cafe in the village square of the quaint town of Les Arcs. Peter hosted all of our wine tastings personally and was great at explaining the wines were were drinking. We are not wine novices, so it was truly pleasant to have Peter to discuss the subtle differences in the wines. This was our second private wine tour with Peter and Azur Wine Tours (previous was OCT 2022). We will not hesitate to book another tour upon our next return to Cote D'Azur.
