Wijnkelder "Fabullus" is een ideale plek om te wonen en een ervaring te delen waarin eten en wijn in evenwicht zijn in een perfect huwelijk van smaak. Het is een zintuiglijke en informatieve reis waar je de geheimen van de oude Italiaanse eet- en wijnkunst kunt waarderen en leren kennen. "Fabullus" is een prachtige ruimte die is ontstaan door de vakkundige restauratie van een ondergrondse kamer die meer dan 2000 jaar geleden een reservoir was dat diende om water op te slaan voor een Romeinse villa en vandaag de dag is omgetoverd tot een plek om te genieten van een uitzonderlijke selectie van delicatessen Italiaanse gerechten en wijnen van topkwaliteit. Dompel jezelf onder in de geuren en smaken, laat ze dansen op je gehemelte en geniet van de magie van eten dat cultuur en kunst wordt. We bieden een gevarieerd aanbod aan culinaire hoogstandjes: superieure wijnen uitgekozen door onze sommelier, verschillende soorten varkensvlees of gezouten vlees, vleeswaren, mortadella, verse en oude kazen, buffelmozzarella, olijven, extra vergine olijfolie, groenten in olie of azijn, Romeinse pizza, brood, ijs.

Highly refined and elegant place, unique for the cozy and intimate atmosphere typical of the 30s. I had a finely curated tasting with friends featuring fine and selected wines. A food and wine journey that crossed different Italian regions. The sommelier was knowledgeable and very thorough in his presentation and explanation. The owner was kind, friendly, and very attentive to details. A place truly recommended for those who love to pamper their taste buds and make a good impression. 10 out of 10 and... Thank you Stefano!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. The wine selection was impressive, with each bottle carefully chosen to represent different Italian traditions and styles. Highly recommended experience in the heart of Trastevere. Tasting of excellent wines paired with quality food in a Roman cistern made very suggestive by the details but above all by the welcome of the fantastic Geneva, which accompanied us on this sensory journey with much competence, passion and a lot of sympathy.

To our surprise we (my husband and I) were the only guests at the tasting. That made the experience extra special and personal. We enjoyed so much all the good food and the matching wines. But especially from the explanation and extensive knowledge of the friendly host. I'd like to give ten stars if I could.
